My next-door neighbor is an automotive journalist. He's presently on a 3 month holiday in Italy, but as a result of some remarkable coincidences and pure luck, was able to get his hands on a NT 1100 tourer in European spec and write a review.

It's a very informative review and also a very entertaining story. Here's the link: The 2022 Honda NT1100 is the forbidden fruit you can't ride

Given the current anti petrol moves within the EU and here in the US/Canada, I'm wondering if any investment in gas powered bikes by the majors will continue.

sounds like he didn't like the windshield mechanism lol

I always have to smile when someone says they have no problem keeping up with sport bikes in the twisties, ( you read it alot on mc forums where someone is riding a 30- 50 hp bike) like it's the bike that makes the difference, and not the rider.

I wanted an NT 1100 when they were first announced, but I'm over it. I've gotten used to my little NC750X and I have no problem keeping up with sport bikes in the twisties bwahahaha

If they had put cruise control on the VFR1200X it would, feature for feature, eat this alive with the awesome V4 power. If they had put shaft drive on the CRF, it might get my attention. You know there is a reason we own and ride ST's.....as close to the perfect all around bike there ever has been.

The need for cruise control on a bike in the UK is rather less than it is in the US, so I agree that my VRF1200X probably stomps on the NT... apart from the 12X's extra 50kg.

I'll admit it's not as pretty as an ST though!
