When I left Grants NM I did not have cord showing on the rear, but I happened to look at it this morning and am glad I ordered front and rear from the Brothers!!!

Gee, Mac... glad you made it home with not incidents! That is running it a little thin! Remember, if you are out this way and need something to get you home, I can help you out. Keep rescue tires for wings now also. Then again, I'm not far from two brothers anyway... whatever.

Sure would be nice to see a cut away cross section of that area one you change it out. Just wondering how thick the rubber was in that area. Looks like you wore it though 3 layers of cords.

I did just that a couple years ago when SupraSabre was getting a tar change by Byron. Stuck my pocket knife thru the black center and pushed it sideways to show the cross section. There ain't much rubber under those cords! :22yikes:You are still good to go as the air is not showing yet!!!
