Hi everyone

I'm from UK and am waiting delivery of my 2007 ST1300A. Bike has only done 29k miles and comes with a full 32k service.

Having owned a Goldwing a few years back, it will be interesting to see how the handling compares. I'm not expecting much of a reduction in weight.

Anyway, I look forward to reading the posts from other members and eventually adding my own.

Welcome! Check first the tires' ages, conditions, pressures, etc. As for the handling, I'm sure you will not be disappointed!

If you feel like the handling is sluggish and resists responding to counter-steering input, try raising the rear suspension a bit.

I think you might find the ST1300 to be a fair bit “peppier” than the GL1800 - and you certainly pic,Ed the best year!

I have ridden a Goldwing 20 feet and ST1300s 30,000 miles. With this experience I can say you are in for a treat.
