By chance of a casual comment of a nice young couple we chatted to in a pizza bar in Meford the night before, we visited Crater Lake; I'm glad we did, otherwise I would not have had this pic.
Hickman Bridge at Capitol Reef National Park in Utah. That little guy is me, which gives you an idea of the size of this rock formation. Out of all the national parks in Utah, Capitol Reef was my favorite.

This is Blue Lake above. It sits on the other side of Liberty Bell mountain below.
This is fun.
This guy showed up on the trail about 30 feet from us. We watched him. He watched us. Finally, he jumped up on that rock with no effort whatsoever. It seemed like he was telling us he was king of this mountain.
Mr.Morley, sir. Now there's a coincidence. If such things exist.
Only yesterday that picture was posted on the Bikes and Travels forum here in Old Blighty. Albeit in more typical Irish weather for Co.Wicklow. The poster explained the upper and lower lakes.
It was part of a more general discussion into why would you travel from mainland UK to Ireland for a bike ride. All the usual points were covered. The ferry, the cost, the weather, the troubles etc. and then the beauty, the isolation the Guinness etc.
Thanks for posting.
