Helmets New Scorpion exo900X

Just picked up my 04 st1300 and need a new helmet. Had just about decided to pick up an EXO900 and found a recent review on the EXO900X. This looks a little more streamlined, comes without an accessory peak (which I likely wouldn't use anyway), is lighter and CHEAPER than the 900. Does anyone have any first hand experience with this edition of the Scorpion (especially the noise factor)?
 
I have the EXO900 and just see a few changes. I had a Fulmer and Shoei and the noise reduction is much better. Nonetheless, the wind is still their if I put the screen down. I'd be interested if they make a helmet that is like a sound proof room.
 
The good news is the new shape of the EXO 900X should fit my head.

The bad news is I bought the old version this spring and it hurts after about an hour[emoji30]
 
I spoke to the manager of a large store in Guelph today, He doesn't expect he'll see an EXO 900X until spring 2015. Even though scorpion EXO900 are on closeout on U.S. sites no price change here in Ontario in the near future. Why would I rush to buy one at full pop for $70-$100 more for a model that will be discontinued in months? (except I WAS hoping for hiViz). Anyway.. More time to do research .....
