Hi,

Brand new to this forum and hopefully/shortly new to the world of Honda ST1300 ownership. I've always admired the super high mileage, reliable Honda touring machines. Bike wise I'm from the other planet-the high maintenance 1977 Harley Davidson FLH Electra Glide, it's a good bike, but the time in the saddle to maintenance ratio is a bit high.

Looking at a couple of ST1300's, a 2009 and a 2004, we'll see how that works out within the next week or so.

I am also brand new to the forum. I've had an ST1300 for nearly a year and I've already been making all sorts of modifications to it.

*Deep breath*

Clear lens switchback indicators, white LED headlights and side lights, blue LED dash, blue LED gear indicator, heated grips, Gerbing heated clothing connector, handle bar riser with wireless Quad Lock on a Ram mount, some sort of farkle holding bar mounted next to the clutch reservoir, Grip Puppies, Puig touring screen with the additional top visor thing, side fairing wind deflectors, radiator guard, triple horn set up (stock + Denali mini sound bomb + Denali sound bomb), LED strip light indicators inside the mirrors as an additional reminder, LED strip light side repeaters in the engine cut out, blind-spot mirror above the dash (not convinced about that one yet), seat raised at the front and lowered at the back to stop sliding forward and covered with mesh to allow airflow (not satisfied with the seat yet), rear crash bars, colour matched Shad top box with brake light on the brakcet, LED tail/brake lights, additional LED brake light mounted on the mudguard under the number plate, and right angle adapters on the tyre valves.

Next I'm looking at some sort of knee pad things to go on the wind deflectors and some sort of highway pegs but I'm not paying for those blade types if I can make something cheaper. Maybe auxiliary front lights. Maybe tool tubes to hold additional fuel etc. Unsure.

Click on your screen name at top right corner of this page in blue band, > Account Details > Email > change. ">" = click on
