Odd Thursday... 15th May 25...

Morning all! Grey and overcast here with rain said to be on its way. It will be a wet ride home but it's a ride :). Currently 10C with a predicted high of 15C.

Have to go to a dance recital this evening to watch the kids our daughter teaches perform. I'm caught, I really want to support our daughter but I sure am not overly pumped about sitting through 2+ hours of watching other people's kids dance on stage. It's not horrible and some of the dances are actually quite good but my haggard lazy old ass pines for my recliner and the next episode of Andor. Ah well, I escaped the one that ran last night so only fair I show up tonight.

SupraSabre, that's awesome! Kids like Kaylee give me hope for the future and that they will do a better job than we did.

Martin, I think the gist is that people get tired of the stereotypes and unfortunately the one you started with still seems to be the default for a good chunk of the population. Be the change.....:)

Hope everyone has a great day!

Edit: Oh yeah, Chuck enjoy the new ride! We look forward to pics and report on how it is!

Howdy from SoMD! Coffee keeps me out of prison, so thank you Martin, and glad you're getting your hot seat fixed!

There are days when being in-office is tolerable. This is not one of them. Well, I should say I'm in-cubicle. Which means I hear EVERY conversation ever had in this entire room. I've even had to shush a CAPT when I was in a telecom...well, I needed to hear and their convo wasn't my business. I miss the days I could close a door.

I'm off to go vent frustrations on the volleyball court. Weather looks dang nice after getting 3.5 inches of rain, a month's worth, over just the last 2 days. Up to 79F/26C.

And to top it my mother's birthday would've been today. So the brain isn't tracking very well today. Take care y'all!

However today after my wife's Physical Therapy appointment I am headed to the Dealer to put eyes on my new Girlfriend that just arrived before closing last night. Most likely will be the last new bike I buy before my kids or life forces me to hang up the helmet (which ever comes first).
@ChucksKLRST, congratulations on your new bike!
My bad, I did mean to post that earlier, but my terrible memory let me down once again!
Enjoy it to your hearts content!
Pickies appreciated!
Regards
Whisker Bill
