Doing it DIY? :)
I told the CO I would DIY, she being more sensible described the DIY scenario, then got our neighbor builder.
I drew the basic design.
I’ll have plenty of interior finishing, shelf, cabinet, workbench, wardrobe, lighting and art work hanging to satisfy my creative nature.
In the plan change from DIY to hiring out, the construction changed from wood to metal. Fortunately the cost of metal did not skyrocket like plywood.

Hope all this increase in building supplies doesn't ruin your party. Its great to have a shop no matter what size. Whatever size we build we wish we had done it bigger. Get er done before winter!

That is so true. When I lived on the farm we had a 30' x 40' shop, another 40' X 60' shop, and a 60' X 100' machine shed.
Somehow, there was still no indoor space available to work on the equipment at times.
