I remember my aunt and uncle had a cream separator on their back porch to process the milk from their cows.

That brought back memories, but not liver. When we were kids my Mom had to boil the milk (delivered straight from the cow) and a skin would form on it, which made me gag, and I'd pick it off and throw it in the sink. One day my Mom told me to drink it, skin and all and she held my mouth closed until I swallowed it. I gagged and heaved it through my nostrils, dragon like, they were all rolling on the floor laughing and I thought I was going to die. I was never forced to drink milk after that.
Oh, the memories!!

I still remember buying "pop" out of those old cooler style soda machines that the soda was sitting in water. I'll never forget the tinkling sound they made when running. You had to slide the bottles down a track to the point where there was a gate device that would release when a coin was put in and you could pull your bottle out. Oh the frustration if you hesitated a little and the gate would re-lock without you getting your soda. Royal Crown, Orange Crush. Grape Nehi, Dr Pepper and of course Coke or Pepsi.
