Passenger Arm Rests

Greetings everyone, I’m considering adding those little arm rest thingies to a factory top case to keep my passenger comfortable. (You know the saying; happy wife……)

Does anyone have any opinions to share on how much comfort, if any, these add? I’ve only seen them in pictures, and from what I've seen, they really too small and too far back to be of much aid. But I don’t know.

Also, how do they attach to the top case? I’m going to assume it involves drilling at least a few holes in the top case.

And lastly, does anyone have any arm rests they'd like to part with?

I have these on my topcase. Yes you need to drill a couple of holes in it but not a big deal. As for the comfort goes, it is better than nothing, she can put the elbows on. I'd give it 3 out of 5 on a good day.
