Picture needed (91-95 alternator installed in the bike?)

Does anyone have a closeup pic of their 91-95 alternator installed in the bike? I need to know if the rear outer stator assembly is fully mated with the internal half when installed? I am reinstalling mine and have a half millimetre gap between the two and don't want to overtighten and crack. I have searched all manuals made and there are no pictures with the detail I need. Thanks.

I would do a search here and on the net for 40 amp alternator upgrade threads. Even though you need info about a 28amp one the change out threads have good pics of those too.

Thanks so much. That was what I needed. There is a gap and when I tried to previously tighten it flush, it cracked one of the ears. I was afraid to do it a second time. Your picture helped. Cheers.
