I guess I'm going to have to get a Pinlock too. Got caught in rain and 45 degrees on Thanksgiving night and could not keep my RF1000 from fogging. When I cracked the shield to the first notch, it wouldn't fog but I took in lots of water. Never had that problem with my Arai Q2.
I see that Newenough sells the inserts, but I did not see that they carried the shield itself. Motorcycle-Superstore sells both the Pinlock shield and the inserts. Anyone know if newenough sells the Pinlock shield too?

Have a Shoei RF1000 that fogs up terribly in the winter.Tried most of the anti fog products last winter with unsatisfactory results.Thinking of going with the yellow shield.Any positive or negative comments from real use.

I've been using on a couple of Nolan N102 helmets and really find it helps a bunch in rain and cold. I occasionally get a little water between the insert and the shield but just carefully remove when I have time and clean it out. You must be very careful cleaning the inserts as they are very soft plastic and can scratch pretty easily.
