Good morning everyone

Thanks for the coffee, Martin. At least you have a shelf and a place for a hanger. When I was riding to work my coat got hung on the back of my office chair, helmet sat atop the book storage / overhead bin in my cube, and riding pants either went on the side of the desk or into a filing cabinet drawer.

It's 72°F, clear, and VERY humid in Rockville (the bedroom windows are fogged over, from the outside) after yesterday evening's downpour. Hazy, hot - around 93 at the peak - and humid is the call for today, with a chance of a little more rain this evening between 1900 and 2200 hours.

Yesterday's second rain came right at tee time so my usual group of suspects didn't play; we went for an early dinner instead.

Uke today, along with mundane household tasks, and online bridge with relatives this evening.

Stay safe and well everyone and tell your dear ones you love them. Do it today, NOW, for tomorrow may be too late.

Good morning and thanks for the coffee start, Martin.

It's 68 and sunny this morning , rising to 90, as the sky becomes partly cloudy.

I've got working hearing aids again!

Today , I'll head over to the track , again, for another club day. Based upon Tuesday's event, I expect to be home early.
We'll find dinner somewhere , and pack for our trip to NY for a family gathering this weekend.

Enjoy your day,
Steve

Tired?
Who's tired?
I am worn out, after sleeping in 10- minute bursts for the last hour. Meaning, insufficient eyelid-testing time.
Thanks, Martin. Thought I would get up early and get some work done that's due today.
Like I said... it was a thought.
Tonight there's a networking event, described as a bourbon-tasting soiree. One of my co-workers is also a part-time bartender, and she learned of it. Can't say I've ever been to such a meeting, as I generally do my bourbon tasting / testing at home alone.
Temps may reach 102 today, unless that's "just" the feels-like number. But summer has landed. Keep a towel in the pannier pocket for easy reach.
No golf scheduled for me today.
Or ever.

G'morning, all, and thanks for the coffee, Martin.

We got some pretty good downpours and a few boomers late last night and into the wee hours. Today, they tell us, we'll have mostly cloudy skies with a few sunny breaks until the rain starts falling again later. Chance of strong thunder-boomers in late afternoon/evening. And it's going to be a sticky one; already is, in fact. The current temp is 21°C/70°F but feels like 25°C/77°F, and the high will be 26°C/79°F with a feels-like of 36°C/97°F. This kind of humidity almost always results in thunderstorms, so no surprise there. I think things are supposed to cool down over the next few days.

Welp, gotta get to it. Everybody have a good one, stay safe and go safely.

Patty

Good morning, everyone. Thanks for the coffee, Martin.

Yep, summer’s here. Already 75, headed for 92. Some yard work today. I have a 200 sq ft area that I covered in red rock about 15 years ago, and I’m thinking about converting back to grass. All manual work, since it’s too small to get any equipment to it. I’ll try a small area to see if it’s even doable.

Morning Martin & All from sunny, & :wind1: , Southern Utah!

Currently it is 60F, up from 48F, and heading for 84F. They winds died down a little, but came back and have been blowing from the NE between 6 to 15mph. Later, we could see them from the NNW @ 9 to 17mph.

I was able to get out in the evening and mow the lawn. I also threw down some fertilizer, hoping some of the dead spots will come back. :cautious:

Today I hope to check out another place for the WeSTOC 30 Tee Shirts.

And it looks like Chris and I will be driving north on Saturday for a "Retirement Dinner" for a BIL, that is just changing jobs, after working for the same company for like 35 years.

We'll get some boiled eggs, once Chris wakes up. And have some Pepsi(s), later.

Anyone :dr13:, have a great day on the roads! :hat3:

Good Morning, thanks Martin for coffee and the tape is good for muffling Stupid, but yeah not good at fixing Stupid. Feeling better today, second day of getting woken by the Alarm clock, which means I got successful sleep. Sunny and warm 55 F at 8 am but feels like 60 F high will be 68 F perfect riding temp in my opinion. Today's agenda pick up chemo drugs, after Noah's visit, if he shows up, he is planning to visit family over in Victoria bc, (Weiselinsuit's side of the big ditch). Once I have my Meds I will pack up Lady for my trip to Edmonton early Friday morning.
Got to ride with my Heated gloves powered by the newly installed converter, Gloves work better than with battery's. Well gotta get going, so be alive G

Theses days it's frowned upon calling them as you see it...
Better ask them to "take you through their thought process..." 😉

That's assuming they have the compacity for thought! :rofl1:

G'dafternoon from SoMD! Coffee has been drunk, lunch has been eaten, and work is getting...well, worked. Thanks for the starter fluid, Martin!

A little more garage work this morning, trying to get this one mower fine tuned. It runs but rpms aren't stable and coughs black smoke on occasion...yup, it's running rich. It was an engine swap but kept the original carb/tank so there may be a mismatch causing it. Hopefully swapping the carb back on will do it bc there's no other adjustments I can do to fix the a/f ratio. The snowblower is almost done but I plan on hanging onto it until winter when it'll actually be worth something.

It is gonna be hot today, 92F/33C now and expected to hit 95F before storms start popping. After 10 days, we finally got measurable rain yesterday, a meager 0.18". Everybody elses' fescue is brown or dead gray, and even my hardy zoysia is having a hard time of it. We are way below normal for rainfall and if we even have a normal summer, it'll continue. Ugh.

Better get back to it, folks. It might be a 3-cupper day...take care y'all!

Morning all! Beautiful sunny day. 16C right now, 19C high predicted.

Arborist was out and recommended that the tree come down. It's a shame because it's huge and old....huh, kinda like me....best avoid arborists from now on....

Hope everyone has a great day!
