Hi there) I've got headlight glass punctured by stone. Not a big hole, but looking for replacement on Ebay anyway. Is there any way to recognize headlight unit for right-hand traffic or better with H4 lightbulb mountings?

The European headlight will take the H4. I switched my North American headlight for the European one.
Here are a couple of pictures IMG_4264.jpegIMG_4265.jpeg

I think the other numbers might be important too when you compare to what the ebay options are. This headlight was part of a group buy and the rider that arranged it picked them up in Holland, if that helps.

I found only couple of options on ebay with exactly same glass as on your picture. But housings are in terrible condition and prices unreasonable too). Going to order one with H4 sign on glass and "Europe" sign on the housing, will see the difference )

ahh, I've got "new" headlight unit. Even with sign "Europe" on the back of the unit, and "H4" on the glass, it has this strange honda H4 light bulbs. Anyway, it is better than my old one, dusty and scratched, with pinhole on the glass. Going to clean, install new led lights with shims, replace old foam cushion, and replace old unit.

Well, according to this picture you've gotten yourself a UK spec (or OZ) unit with the symmetrical cut lens (for LHS traffic) there...
@Sunday Rider above shows the EU RHS spec lens providing the RHS upward kick for increased reach on the shoulder whilst avoiding dazzle on oncoming traffic...

I see, thanks. Sad. Not perfect. But I've got what was available on ebay with decent quality. I see bulbs base inclined a little CW, to the right side, that's one more indication that it is for LHS traffic... Going to turn led bulbs in the base plate to the same angle to the left to make them some how fit for the right hand traffic.

The Uk versions (or the 3 that I have come into contact with) have a flat top dipped beam - ie no kick up on the left. The European beams have the kick up on the right. (Sample size of one unit - so not very representative)
