My Roady (older model) has a volumn setting within the "Menu" setting. Was plenty loud. However, ...... it a bummer when you have to change the setting often!
Find you a set of ear buds that has a volumn control and set your volumn on the Roady to high.
You can also go by Radio Shack and get an inline amp with vol control for about $10... it uses an AA or AAA battery. I have an inline clipon volume control that came with some headphones I have.
Although I don't know anyone that has it, it seems very well construcuted and I think someone should take the plunge.
Don't get me wrong though. The Mix-It kicks ass and John Brown is the best. That's what I run on my bike. The Mix-It allows 4 inputs which is why I like it more but if you only want to run one thing in maybe the Electric Avenues one might be worth a try.
Purchased the MyFi. It works well. The cost was higher but it's a more flexible unit. It mounted up nicely to the MCL brake cover ball mount. So far there's been no need for an external antenna.
