Part of bringing the Silver Spare closer to the 06 farkle level.

My consideration was between me doing the job with racetech valves
Or for the same price having Jamie Daugherty do the labor to re-valve the stock valves for the same cost shipped.
Hard to let someone else do the work but I haven’t had much time lately. And almost magical, the work getting done by just putting them in a box.
The Traxxion reworked stock shock from the 06 is installed in the Silver Spare. Looking forward to riding the Spare in a couple weeks.

+1 for Jamie Daughtery. He makes it easy. Ship the forks to him. He does the work and ships back.

Wish I had known, but doing the job myself was not really difficult. And, I got to know some of the guys here better with all the correspondence.

I’ve ridden the Silver Spare about three hundred miles now. The handling is great. Front end feels well matched with the revalved resprung shock.
Jamie’s choice of 1.0 spring for my 140 pounds surprised me vs Racetech’s .85 recommendation.
The .85 springs with gold valve touring stack is pillowy comfortable but not as steady over undulations in turns.
Jamie’s set up is confidence inspiring and there is a different kind of valuable comfort in that.
The Spare now feels much like a DMR set up VFR800 I owned.
So I learn about suspension.
1.0 springs on the way for the 06.
