Rear Brake Pedal Position

At only having ridden my ST1300 about 5k miles I still consider myself kind of new to it. I've been just trying to allow sometime for adjusting to it.

The rear brake pedal though feels like it is in too close to the bike and maybe a little too high.

The pedal is about an 1-1/8" from the bike. Can the pedal be lowered on the pin that it rotates on?

I don't know that it can be rotated, but that doesn't look out of place.
The shift lever, on the other hand, is on a splined shaft and some riders will occasionally adjust those up or down for their preferences or to suit their footwear.

There is a threaded rod on the rear master , it's adjustable and there might also be a pedal stop to adjust
