Pants Recommendations on comfortable riding pants

The thing about Motoport and others using Kevlar is how they do protect that material from UV degradation? That has always been a problem for me. Kevlar rapidly loses strength when exposed to the sun in fact the manufacturer DuPont material data sheet warns against storing product in rooms with windows. I brought this up in another forum about 10 years ago and someone purporting himself to be the owner said the material was “inside” the outer shell and protected from UV. When I questioned how a mesh weave could stop UV completely during use he threatened me with legal action. I attached the DuPont material data sheet with its warnings and I never heard from him again. All textile materials can be affected by extensive exposure to the sun but only aramids like Kevlar warn against it.

he threatened me with legal action.
Seems like a winning business model.
I have eaten it any number of times on dirt/rocks while mountain biking and asphalt/concrete on my roadie, and it hurt even when I was younger. I can't speak for anyone else, but all I want is an honest assessment of the protection I'm paying for, and how long I can expect that protection to last.

Is this better or let’s say more abrasive resistant material than an Aerostich Roadcrafter?
As @dduelin said above: the Kevlar degrades over time in UV. Both being brand new yes, Kevlar is more abrasive resistant. I wear my stich more than anything…

It would be interesting to see a strength test after a few years of normal wear from sun on both. Plastics break down in UV.

To the original posters question, I picked up an Aerostich Roadcrafter one piece and two pants, all used, and have been very happy with them quality wise and price (used). They are older and the red one is faded and that UV has me thinking about material degradation. The pads are also a big part in a get off. Those I have updated as the old pads were getting powdery.
