This is what my Roadtec-01 HWM rear looked like when it was removed from service at 21,000km's (13,000 miles). Photographed against a white background,, you can see the center compound produced a raised center tread, where one might normally expect a mile'd out tire to be flatted off. The softer sides of the tread face wore off more noticeably, delivering excellent grip in all conditions wet and dry. Tire pressure was always 42psi. My recent installation of a replacement Metzeler Z8 O-spec is not going well,, due to harmonic vibration. But more on that after I get a reply to my problem from Metzeler. I may well be returning to the Roadtec-01 sooner than later,,, Cat'
