I survived the week. Barely.
Coffee did most of the parenting... :coffee:

G'Day...

20°/31°C, haze, sunny, the heat hits you right into the mouth... ☀️

nearly infinite supplies of Nespresso... :coffee:
fresh baked dark cornbread, soft boiled bio/free range hen-fruit, butter from happy cows,
smoked mackerel filets rich on omega 3, slices of fresh cucumber and orange pepper full of various vitamins...
now I'm stuffed and have a heartburn... darn health-food... 😒
I never suffer any discomfort from my favorite PBJ bread-spread... :sneaky:

Anyhoo, before the full heat raises I dragged my body into the garden, mowed the lawn edges and run the fertilizer cart around...
dunno why ze GF has chosen 'hiding stuff' as one of her favorite hobbies...
the tools you need are always in a far rear corner of the garden shed, jammed underneath other things...
takes like 5 minutes to unearth and maneuver them out... like a Rubik's cube... gurls! 🤪
(but I'm soooo happy she doesn't show any intentions to 'clean up' the bike shed... I'd be lost! Couldn't find a thing again, ever...)

The brief garden work left me soaked, so swim-trunks and garden shower... 🚿 ... followed by a cold beverage... 🍹

air 31°C, water 24°C, Coke 4°C... its summer! 😎

Good morning and thanks for the coffee start, Martin.
I've got some hotel coffee, after bringing ice to our cooler.

It's sunny and 63, rising to 73 under a partly sunny sky.

We had a long day at the track, yesterday, but got everything done. Track stoppages caused a few delays, and they had to shorten some races and qualifying sessions. We finally finished a little after 7:00pm, bought a grinder/sub on the way back to the hotel, and retired for the night.

Today, we'll do it again for the main event! Today is Loudon Classic day.
There will be more qualifying this morning, and then racing this afternoon.

Have a great day,
Steve

Good morning everyone

Thanks for the coffee, Martin.

It's 71°F and brilliantly sunny in Rockville. Mostly sunny with a high around 84 is on tap for later. It'll be similar, perhaps ever so slightly cooler, in PA where we're headed later this morning to stay for a couple of days. We'll see the musical Come From Away, about how the residents of Gander, Newfoundland responded when faced with a sudden influx of over 7,000 air travelers who were deposited there in the immediate aftermath of the 9/11 attacks. Everything I've heard (which admittedly isn't a lot) suggests it's a very warm and uplifting story.

I dunno what else we'll do while we're there but it'll be summat, I'm sure.

Stay safe and well everyone and tell your dear ones you love them. Do it today, NOW, for tomorrow may be too late.

Good morning, all, from soggy, dripping Montreal.

Not much going on, other than a tease in the form of a few sunny breaks this morning, followed by more rain and a high likelihood of thunderstorms from about 3 p.m. into the night and then again tomorrow. It's certainly been a wet June and it looks like this year's summer solstice is going to be a bit waterlogged.

@ibike2havefun: Come From Away is wonderful, Keith, you'll love it! Enjoy the show!

Everybody have a good one, stay safe, stay dry and go safely.

Patty

Gooood morning from SoMD! What...too enthusiastic? Why shouldn't I be happy when the Prince of Purrrsia decides to be fed at 0632 on a Saturday??? But...at the risk of waking the mind hamsters I did so, along with Princess #2 and our semi-adopted outdoor cat, whom I refer to as Miss Kitty (though his/her gender is in question, he/she is very floofy back there). I've seen her around for over a year, but we've been caring for her for a few months now w daily food and water. She's still hissy but allows pets while she's eating. The important thing is that the personal caffeination process has occurred safely and securely, thanks to Martin!

Yesterday's holiday was spent on my knees cleaning carpets of all the indiscretions left behind by Princess #1. She is missed, but not that part. My knees are sore and red from all that shuffling around. Just when I thought I had found and treated all the areas I'd find more. Ouch! Now that that's done I can go back with the big machine and do the whole area...once I get up the nerve. I also got parts printed for the battery mower, and I finally figured out the problems with my Raspberry Pi print servers. All three are finally running again.

Today will likely be spent by more carpet cleaning and more garage work. Not exciting by any means. Take care y'all!

Good morning and thank you for the morning start. 55 in Kremmling Colorado this morning going to 76 later in the day but I will not see it as I will be down the road.

45 where I camped at last night in the mountains outside of Fort Collins Colorado and it dropped to 36 going over the mountains.

Lots of deer, antelope, and a moose along with a mad duck that didn't want to move this morning on the road.

Enjoy your day and be safe out there.

Good Morning Y'all, thanks Martin for coffee. Today's agenda watch Granddaughters Ballet show, Amelia's show today, last night was Kinsley's.
Nothing else needs to be done. 58 F and Sunny, high will be what it will be (phone still on the charger). Didn't ride yesterday, did mow the lawn, so hopefully can get a ride in today. Okay Y'all , Play safe, G

So what's so great about Saturday?
Nearly everything, particularly when I start it with coffee. Thanks Martin!
The floods haven't appeared yet, yesterday's forecast was a swing and a miss, as I never had to use the Frogg Toggs stuffed in a pannier.
We'll go for a morning walk, as there's no guarantee it won't pour later, even though the mostly overcast doesn't too threatening at the moment.
I feed Roz' for cats at 7am on weekdays, not 6 or 6:30 as they would like, but at least half the herd gets very loud and vocal before their appointed time.
Riz woke me at 8 this morning with "Have you fed the cats? They're screaming."
I wanted to say, "you know damn well I haven't! I've been sleeping right here!"
Well, I WAS.
*sigh*
It was a good sleep, too.
Not wakened multiple times in the night like Keith and his mental rodents.
Don't you think it makes sense, because he just needs more cats? See? I don't have that problem, and I live with four.
There's a lesson in that, I think.
So, where was I?
Who knows.
I need to get more dog food today, that much I do know.
There's other things that will be done, but I can figure that out later.
After more coffee, of course.
A round at the gym should be included, and likely will be.
Other than that, I'm such a perfectionist and such a procrastinator, I sometimes worry about jobs I haven't even started yet.
Have a Saturday that suits you.

Morning Martin & All from sunny, but :wind1:, Southern Utah!

Currently it is 78F heading for 86F with plenty of winds! They are currently blowing from the SSW @ 7 to 15 mph, and later from the SW @ 16 to 28mph.

Yesterday was pretty much a total waste, I sat at my computer the whole day! :cautious: Today? Probably the same.

Eggs, bacon, toast & OJ to start the morning. Pepsi(s) on the menu for later.

Anyone :bl13:, have a great day on the roads! :hat3:
