Coffee, strong enough to un-die for... :coffee:

img_1_1787664516551.jpg

G'Day...

2°/13°C @ 68% RH partially cloudy, no rain expected 🌤️

the Nespresso maker gargling... ☕
the bread maker whirling... 🍞
the washer in the basement humming...

A long weekend over here, as it should be... 😎
one day for recovering...
one for getting all the crap done you didn't had time for during the week...
and one to mentally prepare for the next damn week... :cautious:

Managed to stay in bed till 0900, not too much on the schedule...
possible some rummaging in the garden, some snipping here, a little snipping there...
prepping more ST items/spares for eBay...
maybe a trip to the shed to tidy up a little...

Monday Oct 26th is AuSTria's National Holiday... sovereign neutrality and that...

Well, to that I lift another cup... :coffee: 😎

Good morning, thanks for using the Nespresso and waking me up. I made a cup of flavoured coffee for a weekend change-me-up.
I set up a security camera in the yard to see what made the trail through the fallen leaves Thursday night. It was a beaver dragging corn stalks from the field behind our house. I didn't know beavers ate or used corn plants. Another one just strolled by as I sip my coffee in the dark. The timestamp from the first one was 5:40 am. They're early risers too.

Good morning everyone

Thanks for the cuppa, Martin.

It's 37°F and clear in Rockville at the moment, and the sky is juuuuuuust beginning to un-darken at 0702. Sunup is still 25 minutes away. Late-rising, early-setting sun is the thing I dislike most about the latter half of autumn and first half of winter. Time change or no, one end or the other of each day is mercilessly clipped by the tilt of the earth's axis of rotation compared with the plane of its orbit. I'm perfectly happy to be the beneficiary of said tilt in the summer months, mind, so I acknowledge the double standard.

Later we'll get to perhaps 63 under sunny skies.

Humdrum household tasks, notably laundry, are the day's agenda along with weighing in as Mrs. Fun races to complete the travel agenda and get reservations made for our upcoming trip to Japan.

Stay safe and well everyone and tell your dear ones you love them. Do it today, NOW, for tomorrow may be too late.

Good morning, and thanks for the coffee start, Martin.

It's clear and 25f/-4c in MA this morning, with some pink, wispy clouds to the east.
It'll become partly cloudy as the temperature rises to 61f/16c.

Yesterday, I managed another gym visit, then checked and aired up the Wing's tires before taking off for a few hours.
Rt.122 to 32a to 9 worked out nicely, and the early afternoon sun was high enough that I wasn't blinded.
We went out to our local Mexican restaurant for dinner, before settling in for the night.

Today, I'll try for another gym visit.
When the temperature rises and melts the frost in the yard, I'll take the garden tractor out for a (hopefully) last mow of the season.

@Nashcat, I didn't chime in yesterday, but I hope your treatment is going well and is successful.

Enjoy the day,
Steve

Good morning, all. Thanks for the cup, Martin.

As hard as it is remembering which day it is, it’s even worse when the weather never changes. Still 45/75 and sunny. I feel like I’m in the Twilight Zone, stuck in the same day. I wake up and go out, it’s chilly. By 10:00, it’s nice and sunny. It’s been that way for 2 weeks, with a couple of more to go.

@steve3b3 Thanks for the encouragement. Yeah, I got this, all except for the driving in the dark to get there.

John

Thanks again Martin.
I'll share your coffee meme with my co- workers on Slack, speaking of software.
Of the 5 of us at the office, David / CEO drinks coffee, but not as much as me.
The part- time girl is only there 2 days a week, her daughter drinks one cup in the morning, our half-Japanese young lady only rarely drinks it, maybe one cup a month, so our 12-cup carafe at the office is mostly for me.
All day every day.
Except weekend and holidays.
On those days, my coffee at home is all mine.
Biological software, indeed.
Or better -- my biological operating system.
Despite yesterday's calendar mistake, Saturday actually did happen, and today it feels like it.
Friday's false start didn't feel like Saturday at all, once we got to the office.
No beavers in my yard, even though we have a small creek out back.
Maybe @Rubio 's cornstalk- cutting beavers are on a soft diet?
They may have had some dental work done recently.
Either way, we don't see them in the South much.
It's time for another refill, so I'll get back to my RiderCoach preparations, and let y'all get back to your real Saturday too.

thanks for the start it's gonna be a bit cooler and probably wet today because I put the ST on the road yesterday
First and second thing I realized is it doesn't have that low low tick over grunt the VStar has(yup, stalled it... twice) and it's heavier with a higher center of gravity (nope, didn't drop it... but it wanted to lay down)
but once you get that little bit back in your head and start to roll yup, it's the greatest engineering marvel ever achieved
got out early to the dentist at 7C for a good first ride then down highway 1 around south burnaby awhile and back through new westminster sun shining got my actuators installed in my convertible
I think I do retired... I just need more money
Wish everyone a good one and a safe ride if you're able IMG_3285.jpegIMG_3276.jpeg

Morning Martin & All from overcast, Southern Utah!

Currently it is 40F, up from 34F and heading for 52F, with possible rain. If we get any, it will be just a little. No breeze now, but later the winds are expected from the N @ 10 to 13mph.

I got more in the garage straightened out. I also located most of the parts I need to rebuild a set of ST1300 forks. I just need two parts (which I'll remove from the 06 exCop bike frame.) and I'll be able to rebuild them for the AZ05.

Chris is having too much fun down in ST George. With the weather like this, there's not much I'm going to do outside this next week, but it looks like the freezing is going to be starting soon. Which means I'll need to drain the irrigation lines in the next week or so.

I'll go make some breakfast shortly.

Anyone :bk13:, have a great day on the roads! :hat3:

Thx Martin!
We’re on Mosterøy for the weekend.
Today’s been an all day sightseeing along the coast, Jæren.
Very beautiful!

Yesterday we were treated with good food and wine.
Got a bit late though.
And our host did all of the talking, so I could just relax and sip.

There’s a heavy storm( named Boleo) coming tonight, gusts in the 70mph range to be expected.
It’s a spinoff from storm Austen, courtesy of Mr Ray in England.

Have a good one, sit tight!
Stu

Rest In Peace

Good Morning, thanks Martin for coffee.Weather great for staying inside and healing.7 C high 9 C and raining. Phone says rain for the next week. Left foot almost healed and now overworked my right shoulder trying to fix the leaking carbs on the CX650E, Which are still leaking.
Can't see anything wrong with the needle valves , but they are probably the problem. Bike was parked all last winter with the tank and carbs drained. That's all for me, have a good day G
