The hamster-in-my-head jarred me loose from dreamland around 0400 so I gave up trying to sleep, got up, and made a pot of French roast to share with you all. Enjoy!
It's 50°F and mostly cloudy in Rockville, where dawn is still an hour and a half away. Mostly cloudy with a high around 56 is expected later on. Is it really May? This is more like early-to-mid March.
I thought I was done with the furniture refinishing project, but there's a very noticeable color variation between the various drawer fronts, doors, and top. I don't fully understand why that's the case (speculating that I somehow didn't do a uniform job of sanding after removing the original finish, so the new stain didn't "take" evenly) but I'm afraid I'll need to re-do the entire effort to try to even things out. Ugh.
Goof yesterday was a pleasant day out, once I stopped playing.
