Coffee doesn't ask questions on the weekend.
It just shows up and handles things... :coffee:

G'Day...

9°/12°C, full overcast, pissing... 🌧️

ze GF went back upstairs, taking another nap... 😴
Good for her... 😎

dropped off the trusty Toyota at a befriended mech last night...
discarding the old summer tires (still plenty of thread, they're just old...), mounting and balancing new ones,
and swapping out the 'winter loafers' which are still on the car...
oil change, checkup/overview, annual MOT inspection...
He has the entire week as we're out riding leaving Monday... 😎

I'm on my second cuppa joe... :coffee:
gulped it down too fast, now I can hear the WLAN, screaming like an old dial-up modem... 😁

enjoy your start into the weekend... 😎

Good morning everyone

While I wait for Martin's coffee to finish brewing, I'll say that it's 51°F and clear in Rockville. Sunny and 85 are expected later.

I'll try for a bike ride today, among other things.

Stay safe and well everyone and tell your dear ones you love them. Do it today, NOW, for tomorrow may be too late.

Good morning all!
Thanks for the start, Martin.
I’m almost ready to travel.
A few things to tidy up, then really early tomorrow morning I’ll head for Detroit & then Toledo, where I’ll visit & overnight, to make the final blast into Brooksville, Fl.

My Sister requested that I travel sooner, so I could help get the house ready to list.

Currently 43F with today’s high of 56.
Enjoy your weekend!

Thank you Martin for the coffee. I'm up early today because we are going to a small engine show in western Pennsylvania. This is the spring gas up time and the show will be sparsely attended, but it is still a nice time wandering around, looking at old hit and miss engines, tractors and some old steam engines. Rain late this afternoon, but a nice day until then.

Good morning, and thanks for the coffee start, Martin.

It's partly cloudy and 43 in MA this morning, becoming mostly sunny while the temperature rises to 75.

We did get to the range, yesterday, for the first time in about 2 months. All went well, and I was a bit impress that I'd retained the accuracy that I'd had before.
We did a late lunch at one of our local pub-style restaurants, then settled in for naps and reading.
The occasional rain that was forecast came in the form of mist, so no lawn mowing happened.

Today, we'll head over to our son's place in Dedham for a combined B-day party for our D-I-L and our grandson.

Enjoy the day,
Steve

Thx Martin!

13˚c/55f, sun and clouds, 10 mph breeze from south. It’s nice.

To prepare for tomorrows national day party, my day includes the use of a hp washer and a chainsaw.

A frozen pizza will be pimped up for dinner.
And some vino rosso too, which will not be pimped.

Have a good one!
Stu

From the archives…a village named Sand. They used to have a ferry that took ten minutes tocross the fjord. Now they have a bridge, but it takes an hour on a rock slide infested twisty road to get to the same destination.
A fabulous ride though….but I’m glad I don’t live there….

G'mornin' from SoMD. It's been a frustrating morning. Princess #2 needed a bladder drain AT 0530. And the wife has been trying to get a horse vet out for a week to treat her lame horse but keeps getting cancelled at the last minute. Bc she works overnight, she steals naps in the car when I drive. So I've offered to drive her to the barn today, but again the vet (apparently the only one in this state) keeps getting called away on emergencies. First it was 9 or 10am, and now it's noon. I foresee more slide-to-the-right.😒

To kill time, I've got laundry going, and I'm going to change the ST's oil. Coffee has been administered, but dosage will need to be upped after this, thank you, Martin! Weather is great but we do need rain. Future activities have yet to be pondered since they likely won't happen. Take care y'all!

UPDATE: after driving thru ridiculous weekend traffic, she cancelled again. She'd better pray I never meet her. Coffee won't save her. At least it's nice and quiet at the barn.

And the ST is done. I don't recall it taking a whole 5 qts before, but I did the trick to tie down the clutch this time. It certainly needed new oil, it was dark. Rotella T6 15W-40, ready to go.

Morning all.
I found a cheap way to brew an espresso-like coffee beverage, actually quite simple... and the sad thing is, most of you already knew this.
While I often remove the coffee pot from the drip machine before it's full (the spring and valve prevent it from continuing to drip onto the burner while it's removed) to pour my first cup, this week I interrupted the drip before the pot had collected even half a cup, and the result was a very strong, quite delicious concentration of fresh coffee, not yet diluted by the remaining water in the reservoir, and it was much like what I call espresso.
The one drawback is, the rest of the pot is somewhat weaker as a result.
Still not too old to learn -- even if I'm learning the obvious. EMOTO, remember?
Beautiful day for a ride, high around 84, but alas there are a plethora of "need-to's" around the house and the garage and the yard, so I'll just try to be outside as much as possible.
Need-to's are different from honey-do's, and quite different from a lean-to.
Maybe there's some errand I can scheme up, to get on the bike for a little while.
We shall see.
Have the best day you can.

Good Morning and happy Saturday, thanks Martin, you know what for. New Treads make Car/ bike feel much newer. No pictures of New Mower, it cuts fine in the rain but is a pain to clean up in the rain. Yeah dang it if my hands went numb from the cold. Anybody know where to get heated waterproof Work Gloves? Anyway wanted to get in the house as soon as possible. After Dinner got the Left Axle boot on the Dune buggy, blanking pain of a Job, so taking the day off from fixing Stuff. Hopefully Weather gets better for Riding, Cloudy with wet stuff falling from the Sky, but do see some Blue Patches, 47 F high 60 F ATGATT will at least keep me warm. Y'all have a great weekend G

Morning Martin & All from a :wind1:, Southern Utah!

Currently it is 70F, up from 57F, and heading for 76F. The winds have been blowing all night from the SSW @ 3 to 17mph. Later, they will be blowing from the SW @ 22 to 28mph. We *might* get some rain tonight. Maybe :well1:

Yesterday I prepped the irrigation lines, covering them just in case we get a freeze. The weather guessing apps keep changing their minds on whether or not that will happen.

I have yet, put my snowblower away, but I'm pretty sure, after this storm passes, I won't be needed it anymore this season.

Today, is questionable, whether I'll get anything done, worth doing!

Chris pulled out some premade(store bought) pancakes and sausage patties. I washed them down with some OJ. I'll have a Pepsi or two, later.

Anyone :dr13:, have a great day on the roads! :hat3:

Evening all!

Gerard, that's a beautiful machine!

It was a lovely day here, sunny mostly, with highs in the mid 20's. We got the inlaw's Summer screen tent setup, went out for dinner, and I spent an hour and a half chatting with someone who came to look at my antique car that's for sale. We even took it for a little spin, but shhhh don't tell the coppers as it's only insured, but not licensed or inspected for the road. Also got 1/4 of the lawn mowed, but by a push mower. After supper we went out and looked at ride on mowers, just to see what type of prices to expect. I'll have to do a ton of research before I can make suggestions to Mrs. O on what's the best deal and what we actually need for our type of yard.

No bike rides today, but saw a lot out. There's still tomorrow and holiday Monday though, if the weather cooperates.

Hope everyone had and still is having a great day.

Obo.
