She’s running! Alternator upgrade and fuel pump.

New 40amp alternator (upgraded) is doing alternator things, and new fuel pump is doing fuel pump things!!!

Old fuel pump stopped working/seized up from being out of the old tank for so long, so I replaced it with a cheap (probably Chinese) Amazon one for now. We’ll see how long it lasts. I’ll get a backup one just in case.

All in all…I did the 40amp upgrade, new (preowned) fuel tank, new (preowned) swingarm, painted diff housing, etc…

Old tank had a pinhole leak and old swingarm was rusted out!

Thanks! It took a lot of time and patience (winter weather and knee surgery), but I think she’s on the right track now. Timing belt and water pump will be the next project in the spring or summer since I don’t know if/when the previous owner did it. Glad I didn’t give up!
