Ferret,
Sorry if i sounded disparaging about bright clothing, that wasn't my intention. Yes let's try to give numpties every chance of seeing us on the road, god knows this ST forum keeps Chinese LED makers in a job, but most motorcycle accidents do not lead to fatalities, but life changing injuries that could be avoided are common. I think, and it's only my view, that we owe it to ourselves, family and friends to try and stay in one piece.

I had a violent deer strike at 77 mph while wearing my Elkskin Ropers. The gloves were damaged but my hands were mostly fine. My Stich, helmet, boots, and gloves needed replaced. I bought another pair of Ropers when my bones healed enough to ride again.
