That is a nice, inexpensive idea if it holds the weight of a couple of leather coats, liners, pants and a couple of textile coats and all of the associated armor bits. You see my 3 bikes share the garage with my woodworking power tools, and even with a dust collector hooked up, the fine stuff just attaches itself to everything. I move the bikes out, set up the tools in place, woodwork, then try and clean up. Thanks for the idea.

I am a woodworker also and felt your pain. Fact is I have been working all winter long to solve this issue you speak of. I am just about finished with a complete shop make over... just hung the gear rack this morning in the new isolated bike parking area. ( Haven't seen this thread until now). I have placed all the helmets on it, but have not hung the jackets and pants yet.. will try to get a picture after all the gear is hung up. For what it's worth, it is just a piece of wire shelving salvaged from another job... but it works since all the bikes and gear are separated in their own space.
