Boots Sidi Boot Repair/Resole

I have used Sidi boots for 12 plus years. I am on my second pair. Had the first pair re-solded by a shop in Columbia, SC but he is no longer in business.

I have found a couple of places on line that will re-sole Sidi boots. My question is, has anyone with Sidi boots had them re-soled by an on-line service?

If so, how did it work out?

Would you use them again?

There are good mechanics, bad mechanics, good docs and bad docs, good shoe repair guys, and bad ones. Make sure you get good one - I like local guys. They have a vested interest in doing good work, and you can go back to them with praise, complaints, etc.

I had my Sidis resoled
in Richfield Utah.They picked them up at my hotel,great job with vibram soles.$40.00.Ask Jorgensons Honda for their # , small town,gotta love it.

Great and I just did a web search and they have a place in Rocky Point, NC. I will give them a call.

I know its not the VA place but at least they are less than a couple hundred miles away so, it something comes up, I can at least visit.

Anyone use the Rocky Point, NC shop?

as far as l know only boots with a welt sole can be successfully done.

My Sidi boots were re-soled by a shoe repair guy in Bracebridge Ontario several years ago. Still good. Boots are going on twenty years old.
