I don't do Facebook, so it the site ends up going that direction I won't be there.

If it does go to Facebook, I just want to say thanks to everyone on the site that has made it so enjoyable for me that I have been here for 18 years ..... 8 years after I no longer had an ST 1300.

Been to many of the rallies, have played the Cold Weather contest for years, participated in the Mileage Tracker since I joined, and hopefully was able to contribute some back.

So, here i was thinking the site's gone, I'll have some free time wooohooo.

Then, I think I gotta at least find an alternative for the event communications/interactions so I create the FB group. Well, that is at least not as much time or effort as the site so still a win.

Then, the site comes back up.....now I have 2 things to maintain...... doh...

I wish I knew why or how... since I had NOTHING do do with it.. I assume it was server-side issues they finally fixed, which is what I kept trying to tell support.... ugh.

Joe, you are a genius whether you want to admit to it or not ! We know you got it fixed but seriously, the FB backup plan is better than nothing. Lotta guys would disagree I know but it’s always good to have a plan B.

Well, I don’t own an ST anymore but it would be a shame to lose the content and the ongoing dialogue the site offers. It’s pretty unique. Glad it’s still up and running and hope it stays that way.
