Solar Halo

I was in Barbados on April 17th. I saw a Solar Halo there. I don't think that I have ever seen one before.
I was wondering if anyone else saw it from where you were.

Halo are a bit like rainbow, with the difference that instead than beeing produced by thin droplets of water, halo are produce in much higher altitude by ice cristals present in thin higher clouds, like cirrus.

Correct. The amateur astronomer in you coming out.

There was actually two halos. There was another slightly less pronounced rainbow that was a much larger diameter than the one in the photo. I only had the phone camera, so limited as to what I could capture.
