I have a spot 2 that I haven’t used for a few years, I assume it is still functional. Are there ways of testing it? Are they still supported or do I need to replace it with a newer one? If I replace it what’s the difference’s between the 3 and 4? Thanks

I have a Spot 2 and it still works. The plan now is $24.95 for a year of service and $14.95 for each month that it is used. I don't know anything about a 3 or 4.

The service plan for a Spot 3 is $12/mo with an activation fee of $30, which I assume is a 1-time fee. Total of $174 for a year.
Am I right about the $30 being one time, or is it every year?
