Greetings all,
Does anybody know for sure if there is any difference between a 1997 ST1100 ABS rear disc, and a 2000 ST1100 ABS rear disc. Everywhere I have looked has informed me that they are the same.
Also, apart from quality and price, should pattern and OEM discs be identical? For example disc thickness, service limits
Thanks in advance
Ian

The mounting points on the rim as well as the meeting surface points on the rotor have to be perfectly clean and leveled.

yes thats true but the 1 i got was a shody copy from dear old china masters of crap
OH! That thing... :( Just recently had a debate on that issue, some folks just refuse to believe in proper MGF quality, steel alloys and hardening procedures... yet insist that Honda have actually produced their rotors right there... lots of those mock offs are now floating on Ebay, less then half the price of the OEM part...
