No, at least not North American market ST1100's.Do some ST1100s not have emergency flashers?
Again not on North American market ST1100's, the headlights were always on with the ignition in the on position. With the ignition in the ACC position the tail lights remained on if my memory serves me well.Do some 1100s have the option of headlights + position or position only?
Mine do not have emergency flashers.Do some ST1100s not have emergency flashers?
AFAIK, no US ST1100s had 4-way flashers (maybe some police models?) but some did across the pond.
Those 4x 21W turn-signal bulbs would drain the battery in no time... (mind that LEDs weren't avail back then...)Do some ST1100s not have emergency flashers?
I believe that some European ST1100's had a separate switch that allowed control the headlights independent of the ignition switch.

Hello. You are correct about draining battery, but i changed the original relay, for eletronic relay and mine 4x 21 W Turn dignal bulbs its on Led, like all others lights except dash warning light are original. Those 4x 21W turn-signal bulbs would drain the battery in no time... (mind that LEDs weren't avail back then...)
As mentioned did P-spec models come with a [hazards] switch in the LH infill, but officers tend to let the bikes idle while securing a scene...
Nitro....Nice upgrade.....All UK 1100 models have the option of no lights, sidelight (you call position light) or dipped beam.
Unless running in bad weather or poor light I normally ride the outfit on sidelight as I have fitted daytime running lights (brighter than the photo shows). On the solo, I always ride with dipped beams on.
Also fitted 4 way flashers utilising Honda's own switch with a commercially available wiring/relay kit.

Still leaves the question how long those could be left running till the battery is drained so far you won't be able to reliably crank & fire the engine anymore...You are correct about draining battery, but i changed the original relay, for eletronic relay and mine 4x 21 W Turn dignal bulbs its on Led...
But my system only work with ing on, as a Turn signal lights.
Ok in that case could be a problem for battery, with engine stopped. I used the voltage from ignition. I put another cable and fuse box between battery and headlights. The master Wire of that fuse box its ignition, so everything of that box uses ignition voltage. My 4 ways are direct from the battery but I have an in-line switch placed inside the lockable filler cap to turn off the operating switch when parked up in public places where curious little hands may want to play![]()
I am envious. I understand why our DOT doesn't allow those options but I wish they did. I'm not motivated to cob a UK 1100 or police switch. All UK 1100 models have the option of no lights, sidelight (you call position light) or dipped beam.
