I've seen this asked a couple times. I replaced the connectors with these. I think it works better.

Are the 1300 connectors the same as the 1100?
I do have some of the ones pictured above and am wondering if I could use them on my 1100.

No, ST1100 Mirrors are totally different than the ST1300 mirrors.
