ST1300 Camera Mounting Suggestions/Pictures

I used a friends on my trip to Deals Gap and used one of the sticky mounts on the top of the left side mirror, I could turn it on and off with ease and the angle was awesome.
My only issue with the 50 Gig of video is it's 50 Gig! Was going to try to make a video CD for the other guys on the trip but never found any software that would reduce the size of the videos and still be useful.
I was planning on getting a Go-Pro until then. doesn't make sense to me to use a camera that outputs HUGE files in a less common format and not being able to share.

[QUOTE;1758608]Here is a video taken from ... the left mirror. I use a Gopro. [/QUOTE]

I like it! Much cleaner than the suction cup mount of middle of front fairing. I have spare stick-on mount pads. Less obtrusive looking with no camera than the big suction cup mount (which stays on since I made a lanyard that goes over inside the left mirror housing for security).

Thanks for the great suggestion!

Not sure what you mean by "less common format" -- MP4 is pretty common from what I can see.
