This is the OWNERS manual NOT the SERVICE manual.
(comes with the bike)

Usefull tho to have an electrontic version or a replacement.

There is no legit electronic version of the oem SERVICE manual.

Another really handy thing to have is the enlarged wiring diagram LINK
And detailed lighting section LINK

It doesn't really matter. Nothing on the motorcycle changed over its entire production run that is affected by the information in the owners manual.
I would go with the 2010 simply because it is a better PDF with functional links in it which makes navigation easier.

The service manual has differences between the 2007 and earlier years vs the 2008 and later years. Both versions have the pre 2008 information in them so you can go with either version of the service manual.

In actuality the timing chain adjuster is located bottom left (only One adjuster).
If by adjuster you are referring to the timing chain tensioners there are two of them, one for each timing chain.

If you can't find a used manual you can get a new one directly from the publisher, Helm Inc, for $50.00 USD. No idea what shipping is. The advantage of ordering it new is that it will come with all of the updates that are available at the time of printing so you know that you have the most up to date version. I always suggest to people that they check to see how much it is from a Honda dealer. I have bought all of my service manuals through my local Honda dealer and they were all cheaper than buying them directly from Helm, presumably because there was no additional charge for shipping. The last one I purchased was back in 20123 however, so this may have changed.

When I looked up the parts diagram it showed one timing chain and its proper location.
Nothing like the 2003 service manual showed me.
The Service manual from Helm costs $77 including shipping.
ST1300 engine has two cylinder banks therefore it has two cylinder heads, two camshafts, two valve trains, two timing chains, and two timing chain tensioners, one of each of for each bank.
