Bought a used Corbin from another member. Did the Corbin mod today. Only had to cut the front bracket the Camels hump attached to. Bought the parts from local Honda dlr for $42 & change. Cheated on the release lever and only lifted the white plastic to install. Difficulty 3 out of 10. The red piping does not match but the price was right. Also had to shim the catch on the Corbin. Now i can throw a go bag on the back for traveling.

The pictures didn't work for me, but I bet it looks good! Is it easier to swing your leg over? I was amazed how much smaller the bike felt when getting on. ;)

Trying to repost pics. Yes easier to mount. Would have liked to cut/ hinge Camels hump for storage, maybe over the winter. Can still fit compressor and tire plugs under seat. Bonus.

Now that the seat conversion is done, what a versatile design. One lever to remove seat, locking and removable saddle bags, front storage compartments, adjustable windsheild. It just gets better everyday as I get used to this motorcycle. Compressor and tire plugs under tail and finally figured out where the prop rod goes. Also made a dummy key for all locks except ignition. See pic.

I know! The seat release latch made a huge difference for me too. I also love that the PA allows you to leave the saddle bags unlocked if wanted. I actually keep my air compressor, jump battery, fuel can and spare clothes in my left pannier and leave it locked. My right normally holds my helmet or work bag, I just swap them out once I get to work. I do like that the standard frame rail has helmet D hook attachments in case you ever need to lock a helmet on to your bike if both bags are full.

Yesterday I ordered my prop rod and every tool that I should need in a pinch. I was looking for a stock tool kit, but generally I swap them out on my cars for little better tools anyway. I actually have a little bit of storage under my seats (Sargent) so I can utilize one of those for my electrical tool kit as well.

It sure is fun getting it set up just the way you want it!

Ryan do you have the full Heli bar setup. Also your windsheild looks tinted?

Yes, I got the Horizon ST Multi Axis. They have three different points of adjustment that allow you get it right where you want it. Kind of a pain to install, but I do like the finished product.

The windshield is stock, nothing done. Must have been the angle that the sun was for the picture.

Thanks for reply. Considered bars when i first purchased the ST. Now that the Corbin is installed the reach is a little farther. Also thinking about 3.2 horizon along with the Police riser. I think its been done. Windsheild looks good. Probably would go with a light tint if it gets replaced.

Wow, that was fast! Looks good, the Corbin seats are nice.

Do you have two ST1300s? I am looking at the one in the background. ;-)

I like the Corbin a lot, and it’s going to look good with the blue, if it wasn’t the close I would use it. Riding to long to not be able to move around. There are 3 and the wife’s bikes are behind me. 7E1C892E-B06A-4326-85A2-7E2DBA428B6F.jpeg

I just showed this picture to my wife and told her how amazing it was. She said don't get any ideas. lol ;)

I need help with this project, purchased a 1300PA and need the seat latches to hold the drivers seat in place. I have it for the rear seat. Any help would be great.
