Mornings, coffee’s ready!
Another batch of ecological Green World, courtesy of Mrs Stu.

Yesterdays fishing happened.
A bit too much waves for my liking, but I caught three pollocks and two seith, enough for a nice dinner.

The evening was the dullest in ages, spent at MILs house, with two of Mrs Stus siblings.
I’m really faaar to old for that kind.

Today my daughter and family is coming over fir dinner, so I’ll stay home and cook, while Mrs Stu goes to church with the forementioned siblings. It’s some kind of a memorial service, they read the names of those who died during the year.

12˚c/54f, 15mph wind from north, overcast, maybe some sun later, it’s ok.

Have a calm one!
Stu

G'Day...

6°/11°C @ 77% RH, gray, mostly cloudy, noticeable wind driving the chill into your bones, so nothing "saint" at all... 🌫️

the early bird can just keep its darn worm... I want a croissant with my cup... 🥐 ☕

unruly night, many of the "new youth" took the occasion as welcomed motivation to ignite (illegal!) firecrackers... 💣 :cautious:
thus the KABOOM soundstage of a war-zone (what they all allegedly fled from... 🤔)... or new years eve...

ze GF is going with the season, already preparing a pumpkin soup for lunch... 🍲 😋

and its a Sunday, hopefully calm

Good morning everyone

Thanks for the coffee, Mr. & Mrs. Stu. It's good to remember those who have left us.

It's 43°F and partly cloudy (gasp! not completely clear? That's disturbing) in Rockville, two hours before dawn. Sunrise is at exactly the same time as it would have been otherwise, but we've changed our frame of reference. My internal clock hasn't figured that out yet, but no matter.

We had the usual assortment of trick-or-treat freeloaders wander past last night. Many seemed to be in a sugar-fueled rush, and grabbed greedily at the proffered bowl of candy then bolted hastily to the house next door.

After we shut down, we drifted over to number 7, for the now-traditional after gathering. Swedish meatballs (always yummy), veggies and dip, queso and chips, and of course (very good) champagne. While there, a golf date for today was arranged among three of us. The fourth will be the 15 year old daughter of the neighbor who lives at number 4; both she and her older sister are delightful young women so it'll be a treat to spend time with her.

While I'm out on the links, Mrs. Fun will host a wrapping party for the dozens of items to be raffled off at the annual JACL mochi suki event in early December. Before I go I've been commissioned with frying a couple pounds of sausage, shredding a block of cheese, and vacuuming what I can (the house is absolutely cluttered with raffle items waiting to be wrapped so a thorough and comprehensive vacuuming won't really be possible).

Stay safe and well everyone and tell your dear ones you love them. Do it today, NOW, for tomorrow may be too late.

Good morning, all. Thanks for the cup, Stu.

Well, I’ll be dipped in Rotella…..Its raining! 52/62 and no sun, as the steady rain keeps falling.

Big day ahead. First, a trip to Tractor Supply for dog fool, they a stop at Walmart to pick up my grocery order. Then it home, to nibble at the leftover candy and watch some football. And of course, the required naps can’t be forgotten.

John

Good morning and thanks for the coffee , Stu.

It's 29f/-2c under sunny skies. It'll rise to 58f/14c and remain sunny all day.

Yesterday , I had a case of the tired. I woke up tired and never managed to get going.
I did make it to the town's bulk drop-off event, and aired up the tires of the VFR. Low air pressure accounted for the squirrelly handling on the way to inspection the other day.

Today, I'll head over to the track in Thompson for the Club track day.
Dinner will be at our local Chinese restaurant.

Enjoy your day,
Steve

Morning all, and thanks for the coffee, Stu.

1C and cloudy here. Very Nov 1st-ish. 9's the forecasted high, under more (or the same amount) of clouds.

We had about 40 trick-or-treaters last night. Not the highest, but not the least either. No shenanigans that i know of, other than some immature adolescents who thought it funny to say Happy Valentines Day, and that sort of nonsense.

Today will be remove the rest of last evening's outside decorations. I removed the large animated things last night, lest they disappear from natural or other causes.

Other that, there's still a few clocks here that require manual changing after last night's time change. It's always a trade off of going to work not in the pitch black vs coming home in the pitch black. No matter, as I have headlights either way.

Hope everyone has a great Sunday.

Obo.

Good morning all!
Thanks for the hot start Stu & Martin’s addition.
I heard from “Our bloke.” They had a wonderful trip on the Strom. Part of his email regarding their trip reads:

Yes 3604.3 miles all done. Sounds a long way but it was all steady and easy. It was a great trip and Poland and Slovakia were both firsts and well worth the effort.
Slovakia in particular over delivered, even an exploding bedroom at 3am!

I surely miss his daily posts, he brought a certain bonus to my daily read.
Enjoy your day & play safe!

He should be good now. If he cares to come back. I think I'm over it if he is, whatever it was.

Good Morning , 3 C ,90% humidity or just plain cold, clear skies, and what is left of the high moon. Sun rise in 6 minutes. Made breakfast and opened gate and "Coffee shop" as Vancouver British car club are using our park as a starting place for the London to Brighton rally. Oh made 100 cups of coffee while I was in the coffee shop. Any Vancouver Metro ST Owner's members want to see some of the best British cars the lower mainland has they will be at Delta Heritage Air Park from 9:30 to 10:30 am. So I will be back after lunch sometime, Y'all have a great day G

The Internet's a funny thing. It brings people together from far apart, who may otherwise never have meet, and then endeavours to keep them apart.
Yes, @Obo
The world is a lot smaller now!
I’m planning on heading south again.
I’m hoping the climate hasn’t changed, our park has always been a great place. (it is now under new management)
Please, wish me luck!!

Thanks for the up and 'at it' fishing without caffeine. If you're like me coffee and a long ways from the w/c can be an issue when it starts to work - unless you have an onboard head? (Okay enough about that). Lastly I'd have a coffee as @ST1100Y before getting on that boat to fish. My bil was fishing off of Pointe au Baril on Georgian Bay recently.
Since we continue to adjust our clocks here in Canada I had the Kicking Horse brewing this morning.
I enjoyed a ride with some old work friends - previous career - to a brewery town called Creemore. Beautiful weather either sides of the ride day. We had a cold front bring wind and a drop in temps. It was supposed to start dropping after lunch however the temps on my Triumph already displayed 10°C. Brrrr! I'm happy to report my latest version of home made auxilary light brackets have with stood over 6,000 klms this season. Front tire not so much. A bit of cupping never experienced before on a RoadSmart IV. She wines at 110 klms/hr. Going to try Road 6 GT's for next season. The weather looks great for next week. More riding to be had. Just need to watch out for leaves on curves.
Everyone ridecsafe out there. Chat next time.

Morning Stu, Martin & All from a wet day in Southern Utah!

Currently it is 50F (which is the high for the day), up from 47F. We have had continuous drizzle since last night. And since midnight, we've had 0.32" of the wetstuff. The winds are blowing from the WSW @ 8 to 15mph. And the wetstuff should continue thru the day. At least we aren't getting it all at once!

Because our track of 300 homes (actually lots, since there are still a few not built on yet) likes to have a "Main Street Trunk r Treat", not that many come to through the neighborhood. Since it was cold & raining, Chris choose not to participate in the Trunk r Treat, but we had a few show up at our door, after it was over.

Today is church and just take it easy.

Boiled eggs, bacon, toast, OJ & Lemon Tea for my morning start. Pepsis for later.

Anyone :dr13:, have a great day on the roads! :hat3:
