Good morning everyone

The Cubano roast is ready for you, so rise and shine and come and get it.

It's 60°F and clear in Rockville; sunrise was just moments ago. It'll be sunny all day with a high of 81 or so, with enough residual humidity to make it feel ten or so degrees warmer.

The saga of the lost wallet has come home to roost: I'm unable to renew my status as a Site Supporter here until my replacement cards arrive, or until I unlock the card that gets charged. I had hoped that routing the transactions through PayPal would provide enough buffer to prevent a disruption, but on my phone this morning (last night) I started seeing more advertising than content. Oddly enough, on my desktop computer the ads have yet to penetrate.

[EDIT: after momentarily unlocking my phone and re-subscribing, I've regained my treasured Site Supporter status... and the card is locked again.]

Stay safe and well everyone and tell your dear ones you love them. Do it today, NOW, for tomorrow may be too late.

I was likewise informed upon opening my st-owners.com tab, that my Site Supporter status has expired.
Fortunately for me, but not to rub salt in your wounds, I haven't lost anything lately except for my mind. I even still have all the 10mm sockets I started with yesterday.
Wait... I may well have lost my mind long before "lately", I just can remember when.
Or where.
Be that as it may, I'll jump on that renewal today.
Even if there were no ads, I wood have to support this forum for what it continues to offer, not only fir its technical and mechanical value, but for the more rare benefit of joviality.

No matter, it's an increasingly rare thing to find these days.

Anyway.
Got the back yard mowed yesterday, the front is still ok due to lack of rain.
Leaves are falling off the trees early, and I'll blame the heat for that too.
Got to scoot, and go push buttons for our broadcast church service.
If y'all hurry, you can have some Black Rifle coffee here, but I always try to finish it before I leave the house.
You have approximately 45 minutes, but if you don't make it in time, we can do it again tomorrow.

Another wet one here... and day 4 of no bike. I think it may start to grow moss soon, or the SMC of clutch seize if I don't get out soon. Yes, I know it's DCT so the clutch is different, but it does have an SMC, albeit different than the ST's. Regardless, it's wet and 10 headed to 14.

Good morning and thanks for the coffee start, Keith.

I woke up to rain this morning, with a temperature of 57.
The rain should end by noon, and the temperature will rise to 67.

The rain shouldn't have been a surprise , since we skirted, and ran into rain on our ride, yesterday.
Brenda's not a big fan of Mexican, so we planned a loop that took us into CT, back into MA, to stop at Janines Frosty for Linner. Since we'd been in and out of rain showers , we headed home , afterward.

As an aside, while riding north on Rt.32, I noticed a low flying plane. As a lapsed pilot , I noted that it was kind of low, and I was trying to think of any nearby airports that it might be landing at.
This morning , the news is reporting that they're searching for a downed plane.
I hope that it was just low-level sightseeing that got misreported.
Edit : news is reporting two dead in the Ludlow plane crash. 😥

Today , I might still make it to Home Depot, and a Chinese restaurant visit is in store.

G'mornin' from RI! Let's just say the "hotel" we're at does not live up to my expectations considering what I'm paying to stay here. So, I type this as I sip on the room-brewed swill as we wait to meet up with family for a REAL breakfast (not the "continental", powdered, a La carte offerings you have to pay for here...not giving them another dime!). Thanks anyways, Keith!

Tonight is the big event but we're taking a boat tour with the BIL beforehand. The drive up was uneventful until NY and CT when traffic had built up. Why CT hasn't widened I-95 in 30 years just baffles me. I think we crawled through the entire state.

Currently it is 73F, which our high for the day. Winds have been blowing from the S @ 10 to 20mph. Rain very possible.

Church today, not much else.

Boiled eggs, bacon, toast, OJ & Lemon Tea. Pepsi(s) for later.

Good morning everyone and thanks Keith for starting this Sunday. 75 and raining off and on, which I'm sure will get worse as Lowell turns North and drags all it's wet baggage with it.

Woke up to a very hinky internet with some sites loading, some not. Had to switch the phone to cell data for awhile. Now all seems OK.

Yesterdays yard work was fun with the tractor throttle cable deciding not to control anything, then the deck belt came off and it stated to rain heavily. My yard looks like one of those trendy shave haircuts.

@steve3b3 Yes contact the authorities. They will be interested in the weather at the time, aircraft direction of travel etc.

I didn't contact anyone.
The plane I saw was a high wing, Ala Cessna 150, and I'm pretty sure I saw it north of Ware.
The crashed plane was a low wing piper PA28, which I've flown and wouldn't confuse.

We're headed to Providence in a couple weeks. Hope we're staying in a a different hotel from yours...
