Good morning everyone

There's Azimuth blend by Waypoint in the pot this morning- full-bodied, dark, and rich. It'll help get you headed in the right direction, then keep you going strong.

It's 72°F and mostly cloudy in Rockville, but the clouds are relatively high and light- not the sort that threaten rain. We'll top out at around 82, which will feel like 91 thanks to the humidity.

There's a barbecue on today's agenda, to honor and say farewell to a Japanese diplomat before he departs for another assignment.

I should go for a (bicycle) ride, but probably won't.

Stay safe and well everyone and tell your dear ones you love them. Do it today, NOW, for tomorrow may be too late.

Good morning, and thanks for the coffee start, Keith.
As usual, Laguna woke me around 6:00am for some petting and breakfast, of course.

It's 59 and sunny in MA this morning, rising to 83 and becoming partly cloudy, later.

I managed a walk around the neighborhood, without much in the way of knee or hip pain. I used my knee braces, and that seemed to help.
We had a good time at Joe and Megan's, yesterday. The grandkids are doing well, and we got to play with them for a while.
We watched a bit of FIFA Futbal, but the grands took precidence.
It looks like Joe and Megan's plan to visit Iceland is coming together, and we're probably going to mind at least one of the grands while they're gone. It looks like that'll happen around either Labor or Veteran's day.

Today, I don't know what's in store for today.
Brenda mentioned making some blueberry pancakes for breakfast, so I guess I'll be fed in a bit.
After that, who knows.

Enjoy the day,
Steve

Thx Keith!
Just noticed your coffee description could be used on Martin as well.

Yesterday I was able to bicycle to the inlaws place, where Mrs Stus’ younger brother is visiting ( from Trondheim).
Wine and seafood, a nice party until the Fifa match started, we skipped that and bicycled home again without any major problems.

Today is windows cleaning ( not the Microsoft thing), while Mrs Stu is gone for a swim.
The ocean holds 14˚c/57f, that’s way too cold for me…

Air temp 16˚c/61f, cold 30mph wind from north, sunny.

Enjoy you Sunday!
Stu

From my doctors visit last week…

Morning all.
I need that liquid sustenance and drive this morning, for I'm feeling lethargic.
Yesterday I walked behind the mower, all over the front yard, the back yard, and both sides. The engine was running the whole time, and I'm sure the blade was spinning as well.
I got tired.
And hot.
And wet, even though it never rained or sprinkled.
After that, I took a nap inside where it was cooler, then a shower.
We went to a friend's 80th birthday party, and there was a pool in the back yard.
I did front flips off the diving board to impress his 6yo granddaughter and 4yo grandson.
Then I played whale and swam with them on my back.
Then I imitated a diving tower as they took turns standing on my shoulders and jumped off.
Every once in a while I got to float in an inflatable recliner while sipping white wine.
Why?
Because I didn't see any bourbon.
And what did I get in return for my friendliness and patience?
Both of them turned on me with their little water cannons, giggling and laughing while I tried to keep pool water out of my plastic wine glass.
(And later, I got barbecue and hot dogs and potato salad and baked beans and birthday cake. But no ice cream.)
It was fun for me.
Fun for them.
All the adults stayed in the house, but the pool felt way better than any air conditioning ever could.
As we left, the grandparents and the parents thanked me for watching over the little ones and staying in the pool with them.
I'm not sore at all, but I am just tired.
Can't go back to bed, because today I'm running video at church.
Besides riding, when is the last time you got to play and feel like a little kid?

Good morning all & Keith too!
Just so I’m not accused of anything. . . :think1:
I’ll get the front wheels off later and drop them off for something that will stand the treatment that this tire couldn’t take!
There was an obvious failing sidewall that Pl crack that didn’t like the rocks, trees and other sharp pointy bits I introduced the tire to yesterday!
The upside, the road looks wonderful! It was a good workout for my flail mower & tractor.
The bad, I didn’t make enough $$$ to pay for tire replacement!
Ok, my bad, I’ll get pictures!
Several years ago, I brushed this same road, it took me weeks to do the 2.7 K, mowing the road sides every year keeps most of the brush from returning. The bad, all the stumps, rocks & swamp that I have to get the mower over are terrible for the machine & operator!
Sorry for being so long winded!
Enjoy your Sunday!

Morning all, and thanks for the coffee Keith.

22 and sunny, headed to 24.

Happy Birthday to @SupraSabre. May the Pepsi's be plentiful.

Mr, I'm groggy this morning, having slept almost 13 hours. I overindulged when out for supper last evening, and combined with months of 5 hours of sleep per night, I guess it all caught up. Hopefully I'll feel better as that day progresses, and I get caught up somewhat, with being on vacation this week.

Enjoy your day, even if you're not the special birthday boy.

Obo.

Good day, all, and thanks for the kick-start, Keith! And Happy Birthday, Bob!!

Wow, this has been the busiest weekend for me in quite a while! A dinner party with friends on Friday night, a fabulous few hours on a gorgeous Saturday in a beautiful park visiting with old friends and listening to one of them play in her jazz quartet (they were excellent), and then DOD'S ("Drinks on the Deck") next to the duck pond with four of my neighbours/friends to finish off the afternoon. It was all very good for the soul. :) Apart from a couple of loads of laundry and maybe a quick grocery run, I think I'll be chilling for most of today.
The heat and humidity are ramping up again, so we're in for an uncomfortable week, methinks. It's still not too bad - currently 24°C/75°F with a feels-like of 28°C/82°F, high of 29°C/84°F with a humidex of 33°C/91°F - but it'll get quite a bit hotter in the next day or so.

Right, gotta go throw the towels in the dryer. Everybody have a good one, stay safe and go safely.

Patty

Good Morning, thanks Keith Lord knows I need Coffee this morning. Second Sunday of the month means Pancake Breakfast at the Airpark, so have made Massive amounts of Coffee and lite the Grill. Not helping out, going to Church instead, after 20 years as Caretaker it's time to pass on the work load to a younger crew. Happy Birthday Bob . Okay Y'all have a good day G

Morning Keith & All from sunny (and going to be a HOT one!), in Southern Utah!

Currently it is 88F, going to 100F (or more) and possible thunderstorms later. We'll see if any wetstuff hits the ground. :well1: The winds have been blowing from the SW @ 14 to 16 mph, and later they'll be from the WSW @ 12 to 21mph.

Other than the 8 year old's baptism and then a Pizza party yesterday (two doors down from us), Chris and I pretty much spent the time inside. Too hot out there.

Today, pretty much indoors again. Nothing special planned for my birthday.

Boiled eggs, bacon, toast & OJ for the morning start. Pepsi(s) on hand for later.

Anyone :bl13:, have a great day on the roads! :hat3:
