Good morning everyone

There's hot hotel coffee again today, courtesy of the Altoona Grand Hotel.

It's 44 degrees F in Altoona PA and gray, but no longer raining. The expected high is around 60, which is two degrees more than what Rockville will have when Iget home this afternoon.

It's been a good experience to be here, and the concert last night was as good as or better than Friday's. I've learned some things at least temporarily, though I'm not sure how long they'll stay with me unless I find ways to practice them.

Our group performance at the open mic during dinner was a success, which was also gratifying.

After I get home we'll meet friends for dinner; one of them is the woman who got me starte on the whole ukulele experience.

Stay safe and well everyone and tell your dear ones you love them. Do it today, NOW, for tomorrow may be too late.

Good morning all!
Thanks for today’s start, Keith

Well folks, I’ve some good news!
Some of us enjoyed the banter from a certain fellow from “over there!” Well I received a message that tells me, he and her Er'Indoors have been down with that crud Covid. However he has finally started to feel better!
I was thinking we should let him know we send our best!
Get well soon!

Good morning all, and thank you, Keith and the Altoona Grand Hotel, for the coffee boost. Safe travels home, Keith!

Looks like it's going to be an even nicer day today than yesterday: mostly sunny, once again, with a high of 18°C/64°F. I took a stroll through our little nature preserve yesterday to see what the beavers are up to and discovered that they've built not one, but two lodges - one upstream and one down. Industrious little critters, they are.

Brian, I'll be reaching out to our far-away friend in a bit with my best wishes for their recovered and continued health.

Here are a couple of shots of one of the beaver lodges and evidence of the effectiveness of beaver teeth against unsuspecting trees. There's also a shot of yesterday evening's sunset, which was all-out "red-sky-at-night" gorgeous. Everybody have a good one, stay safe and go safely.

thanks for the start Martin good you enjoyed your event and sounds like you picked up some good stuff
don't know what it is with me and trailer lights; tested verified source / appied a external 12V battery / all good
time to get to the dump and yup, one brake light not working
I think of it as a little voice saying
don't get too high on yourself and away I went
looking forward to getting out with a buddy of mine for a long overdue ride to lunch today weather will be perfect and the food will be aweful 😆
but the ride will be good and we'll catch up on the ways of the world
wish everyone a safe and good ride if you're out

Send them my best wishes, please, along with a hearty "Pfffftttt" for old times' sake.

Morning all, and thanks Keith for the coffee.

Anyone who's willing to toss in a best wishes and phhttthh for me too, would be appreciated.

11C here headed to 14. It's sunny, but the clouds are giving it a run for it's money.

The back's feeling better, which means I can make my hospital appt tomorrow morning for tests, after a couple hours at work, to be followed up with restarting my half days of vacation. If you understood all that, I'm impressed.

Have a super day!

Obo.

Well, Obo, best wishes for a speedy recovery!
While I’m at it, I wish Steve a speedy recovery too!
