Sunday Coffee

Thanks Mac (toll house cookies are my favorite) and good morning everyone

Happy Star Wars Day. May the Fourth be with you.

It's 63°F and wet in Rockville after overnight showers. Not sure how much we got but whatever the amount we need more. That may happen today or maybe not. The high will be about 71, with clouds.

There's nothing on my calendar for today. If it looks like the weather will cooperate maybe a bike rider or a kayak outing might be enjoyable.

Then again I'm a lazy SOB so maybe not.

Stay safe and well everyone and tell your dear ones you love them. Do it today, NOW, for tomorrow may be too late.

Good morning, all. Thanks for the caffeine and sugar, Mac. I suddenly have an urge to go jogging. I hope the urge passes before daylight.

Sure was a short summer, as we’re already back to winter at 48 F. Drizzle and 58 for the high. Time to unpack the wool socks and sweaters. After a week of sunshine in the upper 80’s, this seems almost unbearable.

Nothing planned for today. Maybe Chinese takeout for lunch.

John

good morning all. thanks for the coffee and cookies Mac. 67F on the dog walk with a small cloud here and there and some stars to view as I walked. today we drop off our glasses to have the new lens updated. as that is going on we have an appointment with the cable company as our contract will be up for renewal in June. we just wanted to see and talk to someone in person. I do not think we will lower the monthly bill, but we will see.
the high will be 75F. enjoy the day

stay safe

Good morning, and thanks for the coffee, cookies and brownies, Mac.

It's 59, rising to 70 under cloudy skies, today. We may get a shower, later

Yesterday's weather was better than expected, until the rain came.
We got in all of the car sessions that they'd planned, but they cut the last half-hour one back, because of lightning in the area.
The thunderstorms did wash off the green haze from our vehicles.
We elected to have leftovers for dinner, and I installed one of our window AC units in our bedroom.

Today, I'll stop by my friend's restaurant to install a new screen on his back door. The aluminum frame of the glass panel is looking a bit unsafe, so I'll take it home to try to fix that.
We'll stop by again, this evening, for dinner.

Enjoy the day,
Steve

G'mornin' from SoMD, y'all! For once I was not woken up by a furry animal (I know, don't talk abt the wife like that!), but the sound of rain on the roof. It had teased us all yestereday, spitting on me a couple of times while I rushed to get the lawn mowed, but nope. A cool 65F/18C, with more rolling through as the day goes.

Got to take the bike out yesterday to watch the wife ride in her horse show. She unfortunately came off but was unhurt. Got back on and finished out her last class. She's a tough one indeed! Then rode to rehearsal, then on home. Felt nice and the cars behaved. One a**hat H-D was not, riding with a t-shirt that read on the back "IF YOU CAN READ THIS, THE B***H FELL OFF". But I put him behind me with a downshift and a twist....guess he didn't really wanna tango.

Today looks to be an inside day. Cleanup duty. With the son moving out, his chores fall to us now. Take care y'all!

Good Morning, awake at 5:20 , Ian opened the gate this morning, so nothing to do today, except make Pancakes for lunch and go for a ride. Thanks Mac for coffee and munchies. Sunny day 44 F high of 60 F later today. Yesterday cleaned my camping gear Coleman lantern needs new sock, stove needs fuel, and Tent needed a zipper fixed tighten the slider hopefully it will work for a while. None of it will be used for bike camping as it's all to big. Coffee is ready, cheers G

I just brewed another pot for any late comers. I took advantage of the cool morning to fire up the Stihl hedge trimmers and do battle with my miniature boxwoods, which are now the size of a hippo, and just as unruly. The trimmer was running great, so the Nandina bush didn’t stand a chance. Whoops. Sorry, Pussy Willow. I got carried away.

Enough for the morning. Time for my first nap.

Carry on,

John

Afternoon Mac & All from a, going to be a stormy afternoon, in Southern Utah!

Currently it is 56F, heading for 62F and we have a thunderstorm overhead, making all kinds of noise. And the rain is actually hitting the ground! WOW, we just might get some rain, finally!

Not much has been happening this weekend. Yesterday, instead of working on the AZ05, I mowed and trimmed the lawns. The weather yesterday was teasing us too. I felt a few drops, but nothing! And then today, was a local church conference, and I just got back from that, ate lunch, did the dishes and here I am, watching the rain, listing to the thunder and every now and then I see a lightning strike! WOW, we just had a really close strike. Within a couple of seconds of the flash, CRACK!!!!

Breakfast & lunch are in the past, A Pepsi was had for the latter.

Anyone :dr13:, have a great day on the roads! :hat3:
