14˚c/57f, 10mph breeze from south, showers, more rain later, a bit pfffffffft!

Yesterday I mowed the lawn, fixed som fishing gear.
Went for a coastal walk in the evening.

Today is the usual, clean house, buy shrimps and some vino.

Good morning everyone

Thanks for the Greenworld brew, Stu. I prefer the current-day configuration at Stong to that of the time of the Nazi occupation.

It's 49°F and mostly clear in Rockville, with just a little less than three hours of waiting before Mr. Sun emerges from the shadow of the planet once again. When that happens, we'll start warming to a target high around 72.

Mrs. Fun enjoyed her birthday feast yesterday evening but, despite the best (and most impressive) efforts of @Obo no GoldWing has arrived in my driveway.

On the way to the restaurant I spotted a new CycleGear location just down the road a piece. I've been making noises about needing to gear up, if I'm ever to join my friend in NH on the ride he wants us to take. He'd loan me his FJR for the occasion, and I still have a pair of riding pants, the Italian leather moto jacket I got as a souvenir a few years back, some leather work gloves that could be pressed into service, and my boots, so all I need is a helmet.

Goof dominates the day's agenda but not for several hours yet (among other reasons, see above re: time of sunrise) so I'll fill the time before that doing summat or other.

Rode to work once again, while I still can. I'm not getting younger, nor is the Summer getting any longer. Dark and 6C under a clear sky. Today's high is guesstimated to be about 22 with a cloud/sun mix.

It's Friday, so there's that. There's also more birthday's coming, so there's hope for Keith's Wing yet. Start with the new helmet, then work to the bike.....

Good morning and thanks for the coffee, Stu.

It's 49 and partly cloudy in MA this morning, becoming cloudy and rising to 67, later.
We also have a wind advisory for the next few days, due to the expected nor'easter.
The rain will begin overnight , and continue till Monday .

I'm currently down with sniffles and a raspy throat , that I attribute to one grandson, who's nose his father was constantly wiping. Brenda is doing the same .
The TV news is talking about fall allergies , but I'm not so sure .

Speaking Brenda, I was commenting on an email from the Thompson track boss, who was lamenting his lack of volunteers for this weekend's motorcycle fun, and she said she'd work it. So, we signed her up to work as a flagger at Thompson.

For dinner , we headed to our favorite BBQ place. SHE brought leftovers home, but my Cuban sandwich was too good to stop halfway . ..

Today , I'll head over to the gym for a bit , and maybe take the dog for a walk downtown.
I'll also open and tie off the curtains on our gazebo, and move the chairs so they're not pushed around. The grill needs to be secured , as well .

Good morning, and thank you for the coffee! Had breakfast with an old friend yesterday. He shares our interests in bikes, rids both a Goldwing and a 2020 BMW, plus he restores old bikes like I did once upon a time...mostly Honda models also as I did.
Visit them as you can. Accomplish something positive every day.

Speaking of, I should take mine out next week as it's been a couple of weeks now that the freshly-oil-changed ST has been serving me well in that time.
Gotta keep that battery lively, having replaced batteries recently in the Hondas, one with 4 wheels, one with two. I am trying to preserve some of the diminishing tread on the Trailmax Missions worn on the GSA. Those are some long wearing tires, but I've put lots of miles on it to the exclusion of my other vehicles, as you know.

Tonight is supposed to drop into the 50s... that doesn't happen in summertime.
But I'm NOT complaining,... right?

Morning Stu & All from overcast, Southern Utah!

Currently it is 58F, up from 51F (6F above yesterday's low) and heading for 76F. The weather guessing app says rain in 10 minutes, we'll see! Besides that, no breeze yet, but later the winds will be out of the SW @ 13 to 16mph.

The last two days have been a run to Costco and then DR Appts yesterday, along with blood work. Today, I'm not sure. But I'll be contacting the AC/Heater guy to look at the heater again, now that things are getting cold outside again. And it looks like the Fridge will need to be looked at again. This thing is really pissing me off!

Once Chris wakes, We'll get some breakfast. Of course, along with Stu's Pepsi, there are more in the garage fridge.

Morning all! Grey and rainy here. 11C now, 15C later.

I ran into a fellow biker in the elevator this morning. He complimented me on riding in the rain, that he's a fair weather biker only. I chuckled but man, if I didn't ride in the rain, I wouldn't ride. It's Vancouver Island dude, riding in the rain here is like going outside in the snow/cold in Calgary; inevitable and unavoidable. You learn to adapt or you hibernate for 4-5 months.

Good morning Friday friends and thanks for the coffee Stu! 76 and raining lightly ahead of the coming deluge. Hurricane Nolo is now about 200 miles South of what else but South Point on the big island. Tomorrow it will be about 100 miles off our coast before it's projected turn to the West. The rain total predictions have been lowered somewhat but we will get about 25 inches in some locations. I expect the power to go down at some point this weekend.

Keith, I have a pair of Goldwing clutch and brake levers I can send to get you started towards your new bike.

G'dafternoon from the office! I had to chug my coffee down to get out the door, but I think it tasted good. Thanks Stu!

Rode in today, Fridays are always easier, except when riding by gas stations and the prices keep going up. I'll not get political but this is ridiculous. Still beats the car though. Nice with a little chill 56F/13C, hitting a high of 75F.

Not a whole lot to report the last few days. Well, I do but not much time to lay it out. Parts were ordered for the chainsaw, and the Craftsman clock had to be unplugged due to a foul smell coming from an overheating cap (yes it was correct, but it could be defective or there's another issue causing an overload).

@ibike2havefun Keith, Atlantic Cycle is right up the road from me. I can take it for test ride if needed but fresh out of Benjamins to plunk down for the down pmt. Sorry.
