My St1100's live in Tampa mostly but my ST1300 lives in Tennessee.
I loved my ST1300 ... set it free 10 years ago. 
I recommend riding to and camping at a ST event or two (Tx, Ga, Tn coming up), few ST riders I know enjoy or do much in the way of local rides.

Just host a STOC event ....... You can't get rid of them after that....!!! Kinda like lost kittens or puppies......

What do you need for a stoc event? Sorry, again I'm new to this
Just pick a date and location that works for you. I'd start by attending a FL-STOC event and getting to know folks.
You can also do an RTE - Ride to Eat - by posting in the RTE sub-forum, just find a place for lunch and post it following previous RTE thread formats.

There is always the possibility that he may not like anyone; the actual riding, camping, eating, and carousing face to face group is miniscule considering 14,000 members (about .2%).

True... the 14k is deceiving. I try to go zap old members with just a few posts and haven't visited for x years..
Darn... he might meet you first.... hmmm....
Don't worry I'm pretty sure I'd be the only "Mellow" he'd meet. Zap old members???

What types of rides do you like to do? Local or long distance? I end up doing endless local loops starting on the Nature Coast and then venturing out from there. I'd be happy to do a ride with you if you could tolerate someone who rides a BMW. I sold my ST about 14 years ago but these guys on this forum are super helpful and run some great STOC events.
