Does anyone have any experience with this particular brand? I've seen several others but this one has particular appeal because it won't make my shirt wet. Normally on a ride, a wet shirt in the heat is almost welcome; however, I'm riding to work (bike thermometer read 111 today) and need a dry shirt when I get there.

Not this brand, no... but the coolvest brand which is basically the same phase change type vest.

Here's my review on that product:

For commuting to/from work in dress clothes it was nice, no sweaty shirt at all.

I sold it to a member here because we started working more and more from home and now all the time so can't add much beyond my initial impressions.

All the material appeared tough and I felt like it would last a long time. If I has to commute again and had to use the bike, I would consider these again.

Are you sure you didn't plagiarize that review from another site?

Isn't plagiarism a crime? Are you moonlighting?????? Do posts get deleted over there??? I know I know, I'm getting off topic, but I've been going over tons of reviews to make sure I get the right one (for me anyway) and thought that post might be helpful too!

Hi joe i have a coolvest from glaciertek. I have had for over a year and it has stood up really well.
I am a mc instructor up here and its pretty humid around the great lakes around detroit area. So i use it most working weekends and too and from work daily.

(And even cutting the lawn or yard work and weekend riding trips)

Best thing is the recharge time, throw into ice water at lunch and ready for the pavement for the afternoon.

The chief has purchased one for this season after using mine for a weekend.

This texas unit looks similar to coolvest. I would have to say its one of the best investments for my riding and pavement pounding.

Cheers b
