Technically coffee is a fruit juice.
Which means every morning you’re basically having a wellness routine…
if you ignore the emotional dependency and the fact you’d fight someone over the last cup... :coffee:

G'Day...

8°/21°C, again mostly sunny, but irregular, gusty winds up to 50kph/30mph... ☀️ 🌪️

Home Nespresso... ☕
Office Nescafé... ☕

I paid dearly for going to bed early... 😴
by being wide awake ~0430hrs... 🙄
ze GF not so much, remaining comatose until I shook her after 0600hrs... like cats, can they sleep like 20 hours a day... 😼
at least I was able to enjoy my hot cuppa in quiet and peace... 😎

ST runs nicely, once you remember to take your weight off the bar, cornering is a breeze again... 🙃

Office dull... boss-man acting 'casual-friendly'... knowing exactly that I'm mad as hell... 😒
Probably gambling that someone won't quit a few years prior retirement...
He is going to be surprised, cause the instant I've another offer I'm outta here...
Till then my performance has slowed... significantly... like from 78 to 16rpm... 😝

and we're going to be out riding this weekend... 😎

Thanks Martin for the start was waiting - never go first
Reminded me of when I used to drink a lot and wake up grumpy
now I just let her sleep... alright, it's getting old
Yes I might call it a vegetable juice myself
Another day at the grind and vrala the weekend is here
Weather looks like it's going to be good a bit under 20 for a high
will have to catch up on some reports and bs but should get out for a rip here and there
coming back home day before last what did I spot but a guy getting onto a brilliant white and black ST
Stopped briefly across someone's driveway, held up traffic a bit [was okay cause I had the four way flashers on}
Apparently, he bought it from Victoria Police where it sat unused for ten years, I think he saiid he put
most or all of the current 22,000 km on it I'm guessing he bought it ten years ago
I knew another guy with a police bike but never asked him where it originated from I just assumed the US
but I guess BC RCMP used them I think he said for a few ceremonial events and that was about it be interesting
to find out more about the role the STs had here, didn't have time to get his number or anything, people were being
so nasty to me, I had to run away
Wish everyone a good one and a safe ride if you're able

Good morning everyone

Thanks for the coffee, Martin.

It's 59°F and clear in Rockville, with a high around 81 and scattered light rain showers possible or expected between 1500 and 2000 hours. By the time that happens I'll be long gone, as I'm headed for Altoona PA and the Allegheny Ukulele Soiree for the weekend.

Stay safe and well everyone and tell your dear ones you love them. Do it today, NOW, for tomorrow may be too late.

Thhhhhhhhhhx Maaaaaaaaaartin!
I aaaaaaaaaaaam ooooon aaaaaa slooooow mooooooooode aaaaas weeeeeeell!

7˚c/45f, 40 mph cold wind from north, not riding weather……
Wind will calm down on Sunday.

Out early and bought some shrimps and wine, good old fashioned Friday celebration later.

Now to clean house, then some gardening work wearing cold weather gear.

Enjoy your (riding ) weekend!!

Morning all, and thanks Martin, for the start up.

I might suggest it's not fruit juice, for if it were any other bean, steeped in water, in a cup, it would be vegetable cup-a-soup.

2C here and cloudy, headed to 6 and mostly cloudy. No riding today as I'm home again to round out the week.

Next week I'm hoping to be back. No pun intended.

Hope everyone has a great day.

Obo.

Morning, everyone. Thanks for the fruit juice, Martin. After I finish this cup, I’ll switch over to a mug of hot French roasted bean soup.

Out weather is almost identical to Keith’s. 57/80, with rain this evening. There’s a pretty good chance of rain, early next week, which is a good thing. Our drought conditions have been classified as extreme, meaning my brush pile can’t be ignited, just yet.

Yesterday, the electric company sent a truck mounted 60’ pole saw to trim my tree away from the power lines. This is the same tree that I had to cut up the fallen limbs from the ice storm. I had a nice stack of 2” logs for the fire pit, stacked under the tree, but when the chipper crew came around to grind up their trimmings, they tidied up the yard by grinding up my fire pit fuel.

Good morning and thanks for the coffee start, Martin.

It's 41 and sunny, rising to 58, later.

Hopefully, later I'll be resting in my own home
Yeah, I'm still at the hospital. I've got to learn to walk on my crutches and walker, and to get up and down stairs. When they say no weight bearing on the ankle, they mean it. The shuffling I've been doing is unacceptable.

Brenda will show around 10:00 a so we can both learn how to do all of this.
Today's nurse came by, and said she'd wait for Brenda to show us how to maintain the catheter.

I can't wait to be able to take a shower!

Enjoy the day,
Steve

Thanks Martin.
I'll call it "fruit of the bean", not to be confused with Fruit of the Loom, I don't care what @Obo says.
I might suggest it's not fruit juice, for if it were any other bean, steeped in water, in a cup, it would be vegetable cup-a-soup.
Look at him, disparaging our coffee this way. It's a travesty, I tell ya.
Nice ride to the old country farm yesterday, and even nicer to see my baby sister after 2 years.
At 84° on the ride home, I got pretty warm. Haven't had a long ride in warm weather, in quite some time. I was more intent on getting home, so I didn't take the time to unzip the back vent on my 'Stich Roadcrafter jacket.
Which is black.
Cloudy today, warm again, expecting big, big rain tonight and into the morning.
There are some bike events tomorrow I may get to.
That's about all I can think of, to bore you with at the moment.
Make it a great day.
I'm taking tomorrow off.
EDIT: Steve's post just appeared. Stay flexible, Steve, and go slowly. This is temporary. You (and Brenda) got this!
