the usual dull morning routine...
office still abandoned upon arrival... 👻
and I really like my peace and quiet in the morning... 😎
settle in, sip my :coffee:, running updates on the PC, tune in gently into the B.S. of daily work-life... 🖥️

and its pre-Friday! 😎
 
Pre-Friday sounds better than Humpday... the weekend holds more excitement and attraction than does the office. At least in theory.
I have no business being awake at this time of night, I likely went to bed too early.
But I'll fix that, straightaway and forthwith.
By going back to bed.
Coffee later.
But not a lot later.
The rodent-ridden East Coast Boyz will likely be here shortly, and I'll be back.

I’m back on my usual schedule, waking up before the dawn. Time will tell if I’m able to get out of bed. But I feel good, knowing my lawn is limb free and has been mowed.

I’m thinking that breakfast will consist of Advil, followed by fresh eggs, bacon, toast and a side of grits, with the possibility of a slice of tomato. Let me adjust my pillow and get that dream started.

Weather forecast still looking good for the next few days, no real rain until mid next week, might get 17 and 20 on the weekend so it should start raining about 4pm friday and let up by monday afternoon :mw1:
Will focus on neglecting everything that needs to be done and goofing around with my utility trailer [I hope]

Thanks for the coffee, Martin.

It's 64°F with mixed sun and light clouds in Rockville. Later it'll be in the low 90s, a pattern that will continue at least until Saturday. Come Monday we're expecting a low of 31 and a high of 54.

Being Thursday it's uke day. Having missed the last two weeks I wonder whether they'll remember who I am. Sometimes I wonder that myself.

Stay safe and well everyone and tell your dear ones you love them. Do it today, NOW, for tomorrow may be too late.

Very cloudy and 50F here this morning, possibly getting to 68F with steady rain beginning in the afternoon.

The garage construction project progresses. The contractor pulled permits and awakened the fine print brigade. Before demolition of the old garage can start it needs to be tested for asbestos, which will be done later this morning.
I spent the last couple days transferring treasures from the garage to the shed, including the ST1300. Only a few things remain, such as the side by side, tractor and a few work lights I have hanging here and there. I have absolute confidence that during the transition back to the new garage a goodly portion will sorted into a "Why did I keep that?" pile and discarded. I am both excited and dreading sorting my tools into easy access cabinets and trays.

Be safe, be careful and beware of SPAM (email, not the canned stuff).

Good morning and thanks for the coffee start, Martin.

It's foggy and 59 in MA this morning, rising to 81 with some sun, later.

I made it to the gym, yesterday, and we also visited our local warehouse for supplies. I got to use one of their electric carts, and mainly just followed Brenda around.
We had dinner out, and installed the upstairs AC units.

Today, I'll head back to the gym for a bit, then...
I've got to move my VFR out of the trailer and move the snowblower in. The garden tractor needs to have the battery reinstalled so I can move that around as well.
The other two downstairs AC units also need to be brought down from the attic.

Brian, I'm sorry to hear about miss Judy's sister. Hoping for a good outcome.
@sah48, I hope your brother can also recover.

I'm back, and with fresh-ground Black Rifle beans which make a glorious cup of coffee. But I never have "just one."
That's just a tease, and I don't do that to myself.
Extreme drought is what they're calling out lack of rain, but plants are still green, colors are still popping out, and I just call it perfect riding weather.
But burning things outside is verboten, so we should take it seriously.
The shouldered sheet metal screw is still "mostly" filling the hole that it caused, and "mostly" holding air, only losing 5psi overnight.
Why didn't I plug the hole after work yesterday?
Well, cuz I laid down on the couch and woke up after midnight. Maybe I was tired.
I'll put the lost 5psi back in, go to work, and fix it tonight.
Y'all have a good day, and keep your air where it needs to be.
 
Morning Martin & All from :wind1: , Southern Utah!

Currently it is 59F, up from 43F and heading for 63F. But there is a cold front that will hit us late evening and tonight might get down to the low 20Fs! And of course, like all weather changes here, the winds have been blowing from the SSW @ 12 to 17mph. And later, from the SW @ 28 to 38mph!

SO yesterday I had a brainstorm on the greenhouse issue of it being too short. So I decided to go buy some 2x4s and make the short walls. My first thought was to buy exterior plywood, but then I thought about that shed I got from my BIL. So, I'll cut the sides down and attach them to the short walls! :think1: Also, it means I need to remake the door, and I'll use parts from said shed for that! :cool:

I have made the short walls, so, today I'll try to add the shed pieces.

Boiled eggs, bacon, toast & OJ to start the morning. Pepsi(s) for sure, later.

None in my day either. Formulated the wording and respectfully asked my better half to take pictures for the Marketplace ad for the sale of my '22 Miata. Another positive in my day (in addition to coffee) was that I learned which of my stable is the quickest. Ventured out for the first time on the new-to-me 750 VFR. Previously, I had only gone to the end of the street and back. Today, on a quiet road along the river, the 35 year old Honda just played with hitting 140. So much fun! It needs a bit of maintenance, I didn't see movement on the temp gauge, but nothing felt excessively hot to the touch after I got back. Not sure if there's oil in the forks, bit of banging through potholes... Lots to play with.
