IIRC, Helm publishes a lot of the manufacturer's manuals.
I remember getting one from them for my 1988 Chevy pickup years ago.

So the NT1100 got the ultimate compliment today. Was at the bike shop I used to work at and Joe the shop foreman and head test rider saw the NT. His first question, "you here to order a clutch lever?" To say Joe is not a fan of most modern electronics is an understatement. We got to talking and he said he had just ridden a Rebel 1100 DCT and was surprised by the bike being much better than he expected. He asked if he could ride the NT and I said sure. Came back 5 minutes later and was actually smiling. He really liked the bike and the DCT. And he said so!!! That is high praise from someone who has ridden most everything made and has no use for most of it.

After 500 weekend miles hustling Smoky Mountain roads I continue to find things to like about the NT. It's ridiculously easy to ride too fast on twisty roads or just trundle along smelling the roses. The transmission continues to benefit from development since 2010. It's better than even the 2018 Goldwing which was better than the 2012-2017 NC's. Coming into corners very fast on the NT during braking for entry it downshifts 2 or 3 perfectly rev matched downshifts with a perfect blip-blip-blip and powering out of the corner I don't know how they got the exhaust noise climbing through 6500-8000 RPM past sound regulations. "Rorty" captures it. Today's 200 miles averaged 53 mpg making a tank good for easy 270 miles. It handles lighter than its 547 lb wet weight suggests and U-turns easy on small two lane roads. I'll eventually find something to complain about I suppose but not yet.

I'm surprised to have not yet heard anyone complain about those ridiculous looking clear wings. Have yet to see this bike in person. Maybe they work but how goofy looking can you get?

I think it depends on the angle of the photo...and how much you appreciate what they do for you. The Triumph Tiger Sport 800 has something similar.

Function over form I suppose. They are effective wind deflectors without making the fairing unnecessarily bulky.

I dunno...

I like 'em. Gives something of a heritage look.

I like it. And if they're functional - even better.

I call them my Angel wings. Don't ride faster than your guardian angel can fly. So I think I will call the bike Blue Angel

Greetings fellow NT1100 fans! I just revived my old membership (prior ST1100 owner) after picking up my 2025 NT1100 DCT on Friday. Of course the panniers were backordered, so I'm caseless at the moment which makes the bike fairly useless for touring until that's rectified. I used to attend YooperSTOC here in Michigan years ago and it was a hoot.

My current moto garage is a 2022 Zero SR/S plus the new NT for future long-distance. Looking forward to the discussions and perhaps attending an event or two. Maybe the cases will come in time for WiSTOC. I also ordered a generic rack that might fit the Shad SH36s on my Zero.

I love my NT

And after four months and 2,300 miles it’s about time.
The windscreen, the suspension, the ergos, the rider, all needed a significant upgrade. The Puig screen with defector is way recommended. It flat out works. Wilber’s shock and fork springs, a bit stiff at first, have just this week gotten with the program. Really nice. No dive, excellent handling and good comfort. The 22mm Voigt Moto Technik riser is a big help. Honestly I wish I could keep the wiring and parking brake strain reliefs and go taller, just not possible. And the rider? Yeah, he’s been upgraded too. The DCT S1 is my friend now, and second nature while hustling through the canyons.

And finally some bling,
Puig Top Tech mirrors!

They are way cool and totally unnecessary. Bling!

I am renting a NT1100 next week in France. Can anyone tell me if the 12v electrical outlet is a cigarette style or a DIN style outlet.
Thanks

Cigarette style. Note the power limitations. Also, there's a separate USB accessory port (7.5 W) which supports Android Auto/CarPlay.

Thank you. Do you know if the European models are the same?
I am hoping I would be able to run a small air compressor if needed to repair a flat tire. Save having to expose the battery to use clampsbut 2 amps is not much.

Alas, no. You could try searching for the Honda UK owner's manual to see if they have the same accessory ports. FWIW, the battery is not that hard to access. There's a 5 mm Allen wrench that is used for the battery cover and that wrench is included with the motorcycle under the pillion seat.

On the bottom of the pillion seat. Took me nearly 3.5 months to realize that. I have been looking under the seat not the bottom of the seat.
