How hard you ask?
I love my NT
And after four months and 2,300 miles it’s about time.
The windscreen, the suspension, the ergos, the rider, all needed a significant upgrade. The Puig screen with defector is way recommended. It flat out works. Wilber’s shock and fork springs, a bit stiff at first, have just this week gotten with the program. Really nice. No dive, excellent handling and good comfort. The 22mm Voigt Moto Technik riser is a big help. Honestly I wish I could keep the wiring and parking brake strain reliefs and go taller, just not possible. And the rider? Yeah, he’s been upgraded too. The DCT S1 is my friend now, and second nature while hustling through the canyons.
As far as I know, you can count on one finger the number of bikes in the US with these upgrades. With the top box and panniers and the Soupy’s links (which have been invaluable for setting sag) I have about $18k invested. Add about $2.5k more (if you install yourself) to the $10k bike it’s worth serious consideration imo.Was thinking about asking Mr. @Donk if he might deliver down here.
But after reading your report, I'd rather wait until there is one available with the significant upgrades already made.

With any motorcycle there are those that can’t ride it to thecorner storecanyons without changing everything.

I must of had a case of the zoomies this morning. Bike handles great, I had a blast!
