The Oldest

In celebration of @Mellow getting old. I purpose a game for old stuff.

Let it be old, very old, oldest you can find even. Not going to limit it to anything, find the oldest building in your area or the oldest human. Take a picture with your bike and the last oldest in the thread then post a pick of the new oldest thing to find.

Example: first will be the oldest building in PA, you go to your area and find the oldest building, post the pick with your bike and then a new picture of the oldest thing in your area, maybe a car or shoes or a human.

Just seeing if this will be interesting.

A very old, historically-significant CHURCH
in Marietta, GA.

Pic taken today.

The church was founded in the 1860s by former slaves. However this present building was built in 1888.

Old St. Andrews Episcopal Church, 1887. While it is not the oldest church in what is now Jacksonville (the entire county of Duval was incorporated into the city of Jacksonville in 1968), it is the oldest church to have survived the Jacksonville's Fire of 1901 which burned nearly every downtown structure.



Around the corner and down the street is Old City Cemetery, established in 1852.

Old cemetary is our St. Micheal's form the mid 1800's time frame. It is of the New Orleans style where most graves are above ground and covered in concrete so they casket don't float away during hurricane high waters. From some reason is it now a "Park".

New tag is the oldest house in the city proper. The Quina house was built in 1810 in the city of Pensacola. It's now a museum but seldom open??
