There once was a thriving parallel universe...
then everyone hit the snooze button at the same time; it collapsed immediately... :coffee:

G'Day...

home and office caffeine absorbed... :coffee:

8°/18°C, thick fog in the morning (vis way below 300 yards) condensing on windscreen and visor, but got eaten by the raising sun once I got near the workplace...
thick overcast rolling in, but its quite warm due some strong (alpine) 'warm foehn winds'... (methinks you call such "Chinook weather" over there )
Some folks suffer health issues during such conditions, circulatory problems, headache, etc... thankfully I'm immune...
Another storm warning though... expected squalls with 100kph/60mph tonight...

The '94 ST pulls nicely, will pop up at the MOT station today, need to fix a few things first, like de-pinning the running light as they object on such...

GF is in high spirits, seems the darn infection is defeated, she plans to extend her incarceration in the supermax for another 2~3 days to gain more practice on them crutches...

enjoy the day, weekend is near...

It's 48°F and clear in Rockville, and feels like 43 (though I didn't really notice that as I wheeled the bins to the curb a few minutes ago). A high of 60 and mostly sunny skies are expected once Mr. Sun gets above the horizon, about an hour and 45 minutes hence.

Ms. Brie is settling in, and demonstrating in vivid detail the truth behind the simile "As playful as a kitten".

She shows great interest in all of the toys she's been offered, both new (fresh crinkle balls and the orange mouse you can see above) as well as toys enjoyed by our previous, precious fur babies. Her "flight" instinct still takes instant charge when she hears any unexpected noise or sees a movement she didn't expect, but within seconds she peers out then emerges from the safety of the space beneath the guest bed. In another day or two she may begin getting to experience other areas of the house.

Goof was fun despite being the worst round of the year for me. I'm considering calling it a year and storing the clubs for the winter; we'll see.

It's Thursday, which makes it uke group day.

Stay safe and well everyone and tell your dear ones you love them. Do it today, NOW, for tomorrow may be too late.

Thanks Martin and good morning to the rest of you lot.

12C for the ride into work under cover of darkness and light fog. The ride home will be a crap shoot as one weather app says partly sunny, while the other says rain. We are supposed to get rain sometime today, but they can't seem to agree on the time. Odd, as they are both the same weather folks, but one's the URL on my pc and the other is the app on my phone. Must be owned by the government or something....

Hope everyone has a great day, just like Brie seems to be having.

Obo.

Good morning, everyone. Thanks for the coffee, Martin.

Waking up to a clear 47F, here in Harrison, Arkansas. ARCampSTOC should see a sunny fall day at 72, as the rest of the campers roll in.

You can tell from the picture, just how much Teddy loves the camper.

G'morning, all, and thanks for the coffee, Martin.

It's a dark, gloomy and wet morning here, yet again. A little on the chilly side, too: now 9°C/48°F but feeling like 5°C/41°F, high of 11°C/52°F with a feels-like of 8°C/46°F later. The rain is supposed to stop falling pretty soon, if it hasn't already, and the rest of the day should be cloudy with a few sunny breaks.

@ibike2havefun: Congrats on the furry family member! My, but she's a pretty little thing! :)
@Nashcat: It's a dog's life, John!

Everyone have a great day, stay safe and go safely.

Patty

Morning Martin & All from a dreary Southern Utah!

Currently it is 46F, up from 44F and heading for 57F. Some rains, off and on, but I'll be out of here in a couple of hours, so it won't matter to me, since I'm heading in the opposite direction that the rain is moving!

The truck and trailer are packed, as soon as I get off here, I'll finish some little things and be off!

Chris is on her plane in Salt Lake City, heading for Las Vegas. we'll be passing each other on the freeway, I'm sure.

You all take care and I'll see you Tuesday!

Eggs, bacon, toast & a Pepsi to start the morning with!

Anyone :bl13:, have a great day on the roads! :hat3:

Good Morning, Who's the pretty kitty? Thanks Martin for coffee, I'm the only person awake at 8 am this morning, light rain for the next hour. 50 F high of 59 some time today. Another day haven't the foggiest idea what I'm doing. Probably should start the Dune buggy, and then remove the battery for winter storage. But first going back to bed for a Nap. Good day Y'all G

Good morning, and thanks for the coffee start, Martin.

It's sunny and 41, rising to 59, later.

Yesterday, I didn't accomplish much, but that's an advantage of retirement.
I did manage a 5mi walk with the neighbor's dog, and we did some shopping, after dining out.
My knees are chastizing me this morning...
I also needed to inventory some more leftover liquor for my friend. The wine pickup didn't occur, though.

Today, the plan is to pack for our trip.
Freya will also need to go to the border's this afternoon.

Enjoy the day,
Steve
